Or you make a move like minnesota and list chisholm as dtd instead of waiving him
 
What's up with Wheeler? It would be a shame if a guy like him got forced into retirement.

Because players aren't allowed to sign for a negative salary cap hit? Wheeler would either have to pay a team to sign him or 75% of the league would have to end up on LTIR before any team would give him a sniff.
 
Man is playing 20 mins a night on a contender. Doubt he hits the waiver wire now.:oops:

We'll see when Hughes and Pesce return, I'm sure he's played his way into the 3rd pairing but we'll see if the 20 minutes a night continues.

It has to be tough to be a Sabres fan.

Could be looking into the Jets future once the "rebuild" gets underway.
