This is another example of a good player getting tired of losing, I think Dahlin's anger and dumb penalties plays into that as well.Wow, Tkachuk was throwing bombs there. How good would the Senators be with Brady watching from the press box with a broken hand?
I'm not sure that anger and penalties are always connected. I don't really understand how penalties are connected, many players are take penalty, it's unlikely that an accidental throw of the puck is connected with anger, or a cross-check, which each referee interprets differently. Guys like Ekblad, Montour, Q. Hughes and a few other famous defensemen take as many penalties as Dahlin and some of them even more. This is another example of a good player getting tired of losing, I think Dahlin's anger and dumb penalties plays into that as well.
Not all cases are connected but a highly competitive person when faced with uncertainty about the outcome they can't control or when things aren't going their way by being down in score and losing can become irrational, irritable, annoyed in the heat of the moment and those can often lead to anger. Sometimes these traits can build up after years without winning and not making the playoffs.I'm not sure that anger and penalties are always connected. I agree with that and have said it before. I remember Eichel getting annoyed and even fighting with JEE, breaking sticks and stuff like that. I just wanted to clarify that not all of Dahlin's penalties are dumb and not all of them are out of anger. In fact, Dahlin is hitting a lot less this season than last season, I wonder what that has to do with it, maybe because of the injury he had before and at the beginning of the season. Not all cases are connected but a highly competitive person when faced with uncertainty about the outcome they can't control or when things aren't going their way by being down in score and losing can become irrational, irritable, annoyed in the heat of the moment and those can often lead to anger. These kids are highly competitive, it's just like watching some smash their controller or smash a keyboard because they lost at a video game. Usually they are mad at themselves for losing and by extension the controller or keyboard are the victim.
Trotz is crazy
2027 4th... Well, it's not that close. He took a young player who still seems to have potential for cheap. That's what teams do when they're looking for good players. Columbus took Fabbro and he's doing well on the top pairing with Werenski. Devils trade 4th for Kovacevic and he looks like a monster. I don't see a problem with that, I like that kind of deal, finding a diamond for cheap, that's my thing.Dubas giving away picks is also weird.
I wonder if Crosby will eversee the playoffs again
Yeah with the Sabres. :pI wonder if Crosby will eversee the playoffs again
