The conference situation is as tough as it gets. With Point back, Tampa will likely pull away even further and they still have a game in hand. There are nine teams vying for the one playoff spot in the East. We better win more games soon.
 
NYI get 2 points in Calgary, NYR get 2 in Vancouver, Tampa gets two but Pittsburgh gets one because OT... not a great night for the teams around them in the standings other than the Sens losing in regulation.
 
This will continue until they make it very clear that jumping through a hit will beat treated like jumping prior to a hit.

Not sure how that hit can be called a major, reviewed, and then ruled no penalty other than the inconsistency of NHL officiating.

Until you remember this is a league whose head of DOPS has traditionally been either one of the dirtiest players ever or an outright no talent goon. It would be as if the NFL named Pacman Jones or Bill Romanowski the head of player safety.
