I mean, the story is that those 6 guys were harassing an employee at the restaurant and Biz is the one guy that stepped in to stand up for that person, and he essentially got jumped by the 6 guys.

It’s being reported that those guys got arrested and I don’t think Biz did, so whatever witnesses and evidence the police have so far seems to support that story.

Just an awful take, which is no surprise. According to Bissonnette which seems supported by the arrest of the 6 other guys and news coverage:

1) it was a restaurant with a bar, not a bar. So there was no bouncers. Bissonnette called it a family restaurant.
2) Bissonnette was a regular going there multiple times a week so he knew the staff
3) The guys laid hands on the manager before Bissonnette decided to step up.
4) The other guys threw the first punches as soon as he stepped up.
5) There were at least 6 of them to 1

If you think someone is wrong to step up and help a restaurant manager defuse volatile customers, you are callous or a coward. Getting in their business is a ridiculous portrayal of helping someone who is getting threatened by 6 drunk guys. But even if someone "sticks their nose in your business, you don't throw hands. And you especially don't attack him 6 on 1.

I respect Bissonnette for stepping up to help. Very few people have the bravery to do so. As the saying goes, "the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing", Bissonnette is a good man for not standing by in my book.

Might want to check your facts. He was sticking up for the manager of a restaurant he goes to 3-4 times a week.

First I replied to memento and replying only to what was said happened. Stepping into an argument is different than stepping in to help someone that's in a physical altercation.

First thought when I read the story was these guys must be organized crime, and look at their mugshots, they are absolute thugs. There is no way those guys earn a living on the square

My first thought was, These are some Whitey Bulger/Danny Green-type goons.

Their names confirmed my bias.

I may not believe in a higher power, but fate, destiny, all of that is real.

Cole Caufield switched his number from #22 to #13 this season to honor Johnny Gaudreau, whom he idolized, just scored his thirteenth goal in Columbus with thirteen minutes left in the period. And for the guy who assisted on the goal (Juraj Slafkovsky), it was his thirteenth assist.

There is such a thing as fate. It's why I believe in it. This just proves it.

What the hell was that? Gustav just drank some Nyquil and lost the puck in OT.

And the Flyers win in OT against the Perds.

Stars are getting Chickenhawked right now.

Dallas has been getting great goaltending from Oettinger and DeSmith (except for this game), which has maintained their placement in the standings.

BUT (big butt).....it's not looking great in Dallas.

Mav is not yet adjusting to the pro game in a way that reflects on the scoreboard. I like him and he's decent defensively, but he's not scoring. His lone goal was because he maintained net-front position.

Hintz is off. Way off. JRob is also way off, is missing Pavs and has been playing hurt.

Seguin has been hobbled, but he's still putting up offense. After Jake, he's been the real hero, so far. Duchene is doing what he does.....in the regular season. Wyatt is off.

Their D is worse than I thought it would be. Marchment is overperforming.

If it wasn't for Jake, Duchene and Seguin, the Stars would be in trouble. If Jake goes down, the Stars will be 100% screwed.

Does anyone think Kessel and a 26 1st would have gotten a deal done? I think CBJ lost this deal. I hate to see a team in our division get him!
