I like the Wild fans.

I loathe their dirty ass team; it's always been the Wild that have been kings of finding fourth line plugs whose only job is to injure other players.

I'd rather Winnipeg win it all if we can't. I was welcomed on their board, even though my ask was for Rutger McGroarty. Nice fans and a team I can root for.

Alternative fan bases said the same thing about us on our cup run. Its nice having some guys who are willing to hit anything that moves.

Our guys - for the most part - had skill.

Don't tell me that Mike Rupp had any sort of skill other than injuring more talented players than him. Don't tell me that Ryan Hartman isn't one of the biggest psychos in today's NHL.

The Wild have been notorious in employing big players that play beyond the line. It's why I'd rather Winnipeg win it all. They're a smaller city, and they are much nicer than the other Canadian fanbases. Their board treated me nicely when they had every reason to turn me away (yes, I was polite, but I was also a fan of a team in their division who was asking for their best prospect in a long while on a thread where they were discussing what to do with him).

In my mind, Mike Rupp will forever be known as the guy who scored the Cup-clinching goal for the Devils in 2003.

As far as the current Wild players, we would take Foligno on the Blues if there was a need for him. We hate him, but we'd love him.

In my mind, Rupp will forever be known for injuring Oshie for the season while he was a Blue.

The Wild have forever been known for gooning things up, especially against more skilled teams, and especially when losing badly. I find it pathetic and sad.

Yes, there have been assholes on Winnipeg (Dustin Byfuglien), but they genuinely play with more skill nowadays, and they're a smaller Canadian city that breathes hockey and has dedicated fans. I could live with them winning it all over the Wild, Avalanche or Stars - and I'd almost rather see any team other than a Canadian team win it all in most cases, so when you're hearing me say I'd rather Winnipeg win over Minnesota, Colorado, or Dallas if we can't, you know that means something.

Every since Dubnyk was their goalie and I had to listen to those dumb f***s chanting duuuuuuuuuub after every single save even if it hit the post and wasn't a save, i f***ing hate them

Flipping him to Toronto??? That was my thought.
I see the predators have 0 retention slots.

If this is the case, you’d maybe just guess the teams would do a 3-way trade like we usually see where a 3rd team does retention for a pick on prospect. Since they didn’t do that it’s curious why. Maybe they need double retention and since the predators couldn’t do any they had to get the penguins in the mix.

Perhaps it’s a 4 way trade: Nashville to penguins who retain, then off to ? who retain, then to the final team.

You’d have to guess Toronto, oilers, Minny, or Vegas - the strapped teams who would absolutely need the retention.

Perhaps it’s a 4 way trade: to penguins then off to wherever in a double retention 3 way like normal.

Maybe not a 3-way because they are still waiting to see where his brother is dealt!
