Has more goals in the playoffs this year than JTM has in his career.

Impressive.

Oh, I am loving this. “- But he’s throwing the body.”

BUT he’s not going to score you goals in the playoffs.

I’ll take our return all day. Someone will pay for Names, that is if he doesn’t stay on as a solid leader/contributor.

We did good on both of these guys. Props to Gorts.

Half of the goals tonight have been scored by Top 6 players on the Florida Panthers.

This has been your daily "Florida Panthers suck at expansion drafts" announcement.

This has also been a "Bruins protected the wrong Miller" daily announcement.

f*** vegas. Sharks were the better team all game. Refs doing Vegas all kinds of favors

Officially rooting for Sharks all the way

William Karlsson just continues to impress with a wicked ot goal and one of the sweetest passes on an earlier LV goal.
Is this some kind of Brady Anderson year where he pretty much triples his goals and point totals for his career high in a season or is he the real deal?

He certainly looks the part.

He may not be a 42 goal scorer moving forward, but a 20-25 goal, 40-50 assist guy? Yeah, that’s more what I expect.

If Vegas makes it to the Finals only to be beaten by the Pitt ...

I only saw highlights of the game. That OT save by MAF was life, the goal by Karlsson friggin' ridiculous shot. Can't say anything about the reffing, since I can't watch a 4AM game really. I'm fine with NSH,WPG or Vegas coming out of the east.

I question anyone’s intelligence who wants a 22 year old goaltender to ride the pine all year instead of working on his game every night in the minors
Hank is old. He’ll get ~30 games. If hank is healthy and good all year. That’s more valuable for his development than playing in the minors

Ah yes, I propose a trade which I think has a faint, outside chance of being fair value for the #2 OA pick where we could grab Svechnikov, and I have questionable intelligence for including Georgiev.

Because this team A) shouldn't do anything it can to get young superstar forwards, B) is clearly primed to compete next year, so how dare I suggest trading our backup goalie of all players, C) doesn't have Shestyorkin and three other goalies in the pipeline behind Georgiev, and D) has had so much difficulty filling the backup's position over the last 10-15 years, even when the kids weren't ready.

Of course, how silly of me. I apologize for offending your sensibilities, oh wise one.
I question your intelligence if you believe georgiev has any value. What did He have a 2 week stretch for us? After he was almost sent down to The echl in the beginning of the year. And he was signed as a udfa. It’s pretty hard to come up with a example of a goalie with less trade value.

As I said in another post hank is old and our backup will take a bigger role this year. Especially if hank is hurt (older players get hurt more often). So yea georgiev is more valuable to the franchise as a player than a trade chip.

Pittsburgh has bigger things to worry about than Vegas right now. A gimpy Malkin who no one knows when he'll be ready and how bad his leg injury is, and Hagelin with a concussion. Plus Murray is mortal. Do they find a way to beat Washington? Don't put it past them, but if those guys are out, it's going to impact them against TBL/Boston and the WC winners just like injuries did in 2015 vs. the Rangers.

Anyone else getting a kick watching "Rangers" players go for the cup? I was not able to follow until recently because of a busy time in my life but this is really cool. JT, Dan, McD, and Cally all playing significant roles on TB. Almost feels like the old days seeing those guys have a chance at the cup. I'm super happy for them. Plus we have Hags and Brass on Pitt.
"Lets Go Rangers" (former)!!!

I like watching Tampa because you can see that some of these mistakes they used to make here aren’t all on AV. Hint hint. Miller is still an abortion defensively and Girardi couldn’t move the puck if his life depended on it.

It’s been so long for cally and stralman I just see them as Tampa guys now.

Mcdonagh is weird for me. It’s still so fresh for some reason, fresher than miller which makes no sense because they’re in the same trade lol

Dan Waddell and Rick Dudley? 2002 called and wants their executives back LOL.

The Greeley thing was fascinating. I think someone here posted that Freidman did a whole segment on Greeely on one of his podcasts and how he's viewed as smart, but too pushy/socially awkward and rubs people the wrong way in the hockey world?

I personally don't get excited rooting for ex-Rangers to win the Cup. McD is a little weird but until he signs a new contract, he's just a hired gun to me and on an 18 month vacation in Tampa.

Teams I'm rooting for to win the Cup: 1. Jets 2. Winner of VGK/SJS series. 3. Winner of TBL/Boston series.

I forgot about Anton. Dan and JT definitely have flaws but almost all players have flaws. The trick is maximizing their positives in spite of their flaws. Ranger fans bashed guys like Howell, Leetch, Gretz, Mess, and Jagr for their flaws despite their tremendous careers. Tampa's coach obviously knows their flaws but still plays all of them in significant roles. I was not thrilled with Calls last couple of seasons here but that is now water under the bridge for me. I'm now rooting for him as well. My dad loved him as a Ranger.

My only interest in seeing TB win is the conditional 2nd becoming a 1st. If that pick had simply been a 1st, I would have no interest in seeing TB going past round two. And Hagelin and Brassard? The only reason to hope for the Pens to win is to push the Boston 1st up in the draft.
