Man the Oilers. I guess Dahlin is getting his one way plane ticket to Edmonton ready lol.

Eichel is horrible defensively. Weird considering he had the reputation as being a sure-lock as a good 2-way guy as well.

I gambled on the Coyotes and Sabres a bit in a fantasy pool this season, as dark horses. I am a lousy gambler. Huge mistake haha. I think the Coyotes just set a record for start of season futility. What a franchise they are.

I'm completely surprised by this. Adding Stepan, Demers and Hjalmersson, I really thought they would take at least a small step forward.

They added everyones garbage.. I think it was well known those guys were on their way down or plateau'd

Those guys aren't garbage though... Stepan is a solid 2C, Hammer is a solid 2nd pair guy, Demers is borderline 1st pairing material...

I want to say it's goaltending--they should have paid a prettier penny on a backup goaltender in the event the Raanta got hurt. Raanta got hurt and they ran with a below average backup and a shit ass starter... I would imagine that if they had someone that was like Nilsson or Bernier as a backup
