Assuming it does happen, you have to believe McLellan is available, I would ditch Bill Peters in a second to bring him back assuming another team doesn't immediately scoop him up.

Boston and LA are really the only teams left that wouldn't really annoy me in terms of winning a cup and even then both of them have had it so recently.

Good thing I really do love hockey, because after this round it is basically the list of teams that if you asked me to list my least favorite 10 teams in the league they would all appear. Thank God the Leafs still stink so at least I don't have to watch my absolute least favorite team make a cup run.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I keep watching these other games and looking at potential/ impending 2nd round matchups and I don't really want anyone to win .

I don't see the avs getting past the wcf but it wouldn't shock me if they beat the hawks. Maybe I just want to see them get elimanated too much to be subjective cause I am really sick of some of there posters acting like they are gods over the past year.

But having to muck and rut around against St. Louis then having to put the afterburners on against the avs could be a bit off a playing style shock at least. At least thats what I'm telling myself .

Physical stay at home guys that lose a step really have problems in general at least. They seem to fall off the map almost instantly when it happens. Stuart has been extremely poor for a while now as you stated, kind of sad but at least he is cashing in at home with a protected contract like he wanted. He was great to start with in his tenure, but his game has fallen off the face of the planet and most of that is his skating has really gotten terrible in my opinion.

Yeah we will see there, should be interesting to watch both Vancouver and San Jose (if this result holds) around the draft. I expect some movement by both those teams, even with the NMC and NTC those teams have handed out hard to believe they will open the season looking a lot like their current versions.
