And like four trades go down in about 15 minutes.

Penner to Washington
Fasth to Edmonton
Robidas to Anaheim
Breezy to Minnesota

lol ok, from what you just quoted:

"One goalie went through a rebuild. The other has ONLY played on good, playoff teams. Has never played on a team that has missed the playoffs."

Not sure what you consider legitimate?

Most of it is so ridiculous all I thought was necessary was restating the arguments involved in the article. The fact that Miller not winning a playoff series in a while is one of his main arguments is pretty ridiculous to me.

Have you ever heard of 'Confirmation Bias?'

Have you ever heard of 'Confirmation Bias?'

Have you ever heard of winning a playoff series being more important than a Vezina trophy? :help:

How about you actually come up with an argument on your own if you're trying to tell me Halak > Miller and not just post articles. Or you can at least summarize an entire article for me, at the very least. Like, I can't even believe I have to dispute this. Come up with an argument on how Halak is better than Miller and let me know.

I think Halak is a pretty good goalie in his own right. But better than Miller? No. Only way to make that case is to twist and warp stats, or just remove context, to make them say what you want them to say.

I don't even think you know what you're arguing anymore. I think you're just saying things to make it look like you're arguing, which you aren't.

Look Mac, this is the internet. I have a point. Somebody else articulated my point much better than I did. According to common sense logic, it's still a valid point whether I wrote it or not. You've provided no valid argument on the other hand. You have no statistics, no substance, no articles, no nothing. Your words are empty.

You're absolutely right, I'm not even sure what I'm arguing, that's exactly why I've been asking you in every post (LOL). You aren't posting anything related to your initial post; just repeatedly indicating I have no idea what I'm walking about and that I'm biased and have no "substance" to my posts.

How about you articulate your point in one sentence and give me ONE (1) point to back it up. That is all I'm asking for. Can you either do that one thing for me, or just stop calling me out for no reason. I have no articles so my post has no substance, but you just finished saying that articles are a substitute for making a point with your own words. I don't understand that concept.

"According to common sense logic, it's still a valid point whether I wrote it or not."

good chuckle at that, as if I said, or even implied it wasn't valid

Like what is considered a valid argument to you?

- I said he won a Vezina trophy in 2010. Not a valid argument.
- Hasn't won a playoff series since 2007. Valid Argument.

- Uses career save percentage as #1 point (in article). Valid Argument.
- (like it was necessary) Puts career save percentage in perspective. Not a valid argument.

- Posts that quality of shots improves while playing for a worse team (extreme case for BUF) Not a valid argument.
- Posts an entire article proving quantity of shots doesn't affect save percentage (not relevant whatsoever) Valid Argument.

Final quote I'll use from you that I found pretty funny.

What Miller has been doing this year?

I'll use stats and I won't even bother considering context just for you ! :) Ryan Miller put up the 7th best save percentage in the NHL. 6 goalies had a higher save percentage. Halak? 13th in the league. That's what Miller has been doing this year, stopping more shots and letting in less goals.

Wow that Yzerman presser while completely staying in bounds you can tell just how angry he is at Marty. Bet he wishes he kept him off Team Canada entirely. That was icy, that was like an early 90's after we got dumped out of the playoffs Stevie with the press. As long as Stevie is in Tampa that jersey will not be going up for MSL.

I missed it. What happened?

TOR winning doesn't affect our position as long as they win in regulation, although a NY win is still better. WSH/PHI is a + for us if it finishes in 60 minutes. CGY over OTT basically eliminates OTT from playoff contention. ANA over MTL is good, but MTL is already too far up to affect us much.

Hearing the NHL has reversed part of its penalty against the Devils for cap circumvention (Kovalchuk contract)....

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 2h
NHL will award Devils with the 30th pick in the Draft instead of the 1st round pick as usually determined. Also forgiving $1.5 mil of fine.

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 2h
Needless to say, NHL teams are not happy with the leagues decision to let the Devils off the hook.

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 2h
Devils were orginally fined $3 mil, had to forfeit a 3rd round pick in 2011 as well as a 1st in one of next 4 drafts...

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 2h
All kinds of reax from NHL teams to the Devils story. Some accusing NHL of doing new ownership a favour....

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 2h
More reax includes the assessment..teams that didn't break rules punished retroactively on cap recapture. Team that did, is not punished...

In terms of standings/opposing teams, it's been a good night.
