No doubt he is well liked and respected. This might be early season fortunes, let's see if the play continues the entire year. If it does, RT deserves credit. I suspect there is some lightening in a bottle going on here, I have never thought he was a good head coach.

Demko was hurt most of the year, and his replacements were crap. They have a pretty solid roster. Not sure they are as good as they are showing though.

Good hire. I don't think DT wants to coach any longer, but he has a lot of experience. If I remember correctly, didn't DT help the Kraken during their start up years.

You do remember correctly. I don't remember exactly which role it was, but there was some kind of role he had for Seattle during their startup years.
 
Since I started following hockey closely I’ve realized how few of these stars who ask to be traded work out. There are some exceptions but as a GM I would be careful
 
The fact that CBJ has two high end players massively underperforming tells me it might be a coaching problem. Replacing the HC would be easier and cheaper and could save the season.

It's always the HC to go first. How many coaches have they had the last ten years? Same GM not? I think it's five, one didn't coach one game, and only one with a winning record. Maybe it's time for a GM change?

I think they’ll definitely fire Jarmo. I also think he’d make a nice addition to our team. He’s a well respected scouting mind and he and BA go way back. There were rumors JFJr is up for the Sens GM gig. If we lose him, there’s an opening. Even if we don’t lose him, we could just add a position.

Really don’t want to lose Fergy.

Jarmo should go. Jackets have sucked forever.
