Yeah my grass has been borderline dead since beginning of June with all this heat. On the one hand, dead grass sucks. On the other hand, less grass cutting hah. West coast is awesome, such a beautiful place to visit and so much natural splendor to take in. Have a blast!

I replaced my grass last spring, went all rock. Best homeowner decision I ever made. The amount of time you can free up will blow your mind. No more watering the lawn, no more cutting the lawn, no more weeding or seeding. For someone who works alternating days/nights shift work it's been awesome.
We will certainly try to have some fun. No current plan, just gonna hit the road and see where we end up.

We have all kinds of potted plants out there and plan to put a crated garden in the backyard next year. Lawns probably end up a net neutral by the time you factor in lawnmowers, watering, fertilizers. Obviously there are more concious ways to maintain it, but ain't nobody got time for that, So when you think about it really I'm still a net neutral with no lawn and now I'm a net positive when you factor in the other plants out there. All the water used on them is collected rain water as well so I'm not getting that pumped in. But then oyu factor in the massive amount of net positive time I have to do things I actually enjoy and it's a win-win-win.

It's a game changer. We even got a little funky with it and added a black rock river running from one corner to the other and arranged some larger rocks around it to look like a river bank. Looks good, gives you a tonne of free time and isn't overly expensive.

Rock is brilliant. I have a 3/4 acre or so empty spot that's just grass that's in need of something like that. Maybe a dry river bed or something. Maybe a pile of fruit trees or plant more of a forest than I already have on the rest of the property. Just way less grass. I cut about 1.5 acres total of a 2 acre property and need to de-grass as much as I can hah.

Hitting the road without a plan is awesome, great way to have some Summer adventures!

Not sure what their plan is. Currently $5 mil over the cap. They are going to have to move something. Perhaps they try and move Muzzins cap but it's gonna cost them.

Muzzin is not playing again and going on LTIR, though not sure if they need to make a move to be compliant in the offseason as AFAIK LTIR only starts day 1 of the season.

Yeah... hate the Leafs but probably the best complimentary forward they have added to support the core-4. Us Leafs haters now have to hope that Nylander refuses to sign a contract and has to be moved.

Yeah they need to be compliant day 1 so theyy have to do something before they can ship Muzzin to LTIR.

Yeah there's been reporting in the media that they are really far apart on his next contract so I could see him being traded this summer.

I like Nylander but the reality is they need to get the Matthews deal done and work Nylander around him. I don’t think he is irreplaceable by any means.

Trading Nylander would be an interesting move after the season he just had, but really the move they should make is the player they never should of signed.
