Wouldn’t have to change those oiler jerseys much! lolNeed a game where the team designs the opposing teams jersey.
How bad could the designs be?
Isn't that what we saw last night?Need a game where the team designs the opposing teams jersey.

As long as he increases the number of power plays it’s a win.I think it's a really intelligent signing, ultimately every good army needs a couple of criminals. Kane is a fool but on the ice he's actually a pretty down the line player. Corey Perry f***s with the opposition like Brad Marchand. You hate them but you admit they fill a role.
These guys play 3 or 4 games a week and make millions - yes, I think it is realistic. And you think playing the same way is realistic? I think every team has let downs against weaker teams when they have been on a hot streak like the Jets have been. I imagine it is easy to let it go to your head, especially when there are other distractions like injuries. I would love to know teams that are able to keep up the same consistent effort, not cheat on systems, in the way that they are playing 84 games a season.
I think thats why losses are a good thing as it keeps teams steady. That's why I think its easier to come out of nowhere then stay on top, having that external pressure of knowing you got to win every game to stay in this thing.

I also expect them to slip here and there - but I want it to be the exception that they will recognize and correct very quickly.
No one expects them to win every game - that's silly.
What the fans do expect is that they play hard, stick to the system that makes them successful, and be as good as they can be.
My post was about the system they play and the consistency required to establish their game around that system - I'm not suggesting they be perfect or never experience a let down. I'm not complaining and I'm not trying to set dumb expectations - I just want them to stick with it.
Your expectations are very different than mine. I thought we’d be battling for a wildcard. Yet they are at the top of the league. Most players are exceeding expectations. No one looked at team and says yes on paper they are a winner. These guys play 3 or 4 games a week and make millions - yes, I think it is realistic.

Expectations change along with the teams success - a wildcard spot is way back in the rear view mirror at this point.Your expectations are very different than mine. Schmidt who was healthy scratched is one of the top pairing in the league.
They are made millions, so are the others teams whose whole goal is to disrupt our systems. Yet we are playing our systems better than other teams are playing their systems. How can I tell? We are winning.
Colorado and Dallas are losing. Is that all on injury or are other teams also not playing their systems as well as possible.
Nobody has ever accused Perry of being bad in the room, just don't let him near alcohol at team events.Ballsy move to f*** with the locker room while on the kind of heater the Oilers are on... especially for a 3rd/4th line player
Shit, I looked him up and he played 75 games last sesaon.Hamonic like clock always gets hurt and yet again against the Flyers today left the game early, hard pass
First Kane and now Perry.
That's some culture!![]()
Why would adding Perry make things worse, nobody has ever accused him of being trouble in the locker room. To the contrary he has been well respected on every team he has played for in the past.To his credit, apart from his ex wife’s deplorable social media activities, Kane has almost gone 2 years without engaging in any controversial antics.
If I was a betting man however (which I am), It wont be long until he slips up again.
Having watched a few interviews with Drai and McD, I get the impression Kane isnt the most well liked person in that dressing room.
Adding Perry to the mix will only serve to expedite (not diffuse) the ticking time bomb that is the Oilers Locker-room.
Tic-Toc.

Coincidently that's the most games he has played in a season in his career, 4 prior years the most he ever plated was 50 gamesShit, I looked him up and he played 75 games last sesaon.
