Pretty wild the Bruins have the 5th worst goal differential in the league with -19 and are sitting with 38 points 15th overallk in the league.
They've gotten a bunch of low goal wins thanks to good performances from Swayman and Korpisalo, but have also been blown out a few times thanks to bad performances from Swayman and Korpisalo.

Marner is going to be a tough decision for Toronto. He just hasn't been good enough in the playoffs but this season he is dominant like I've never seen. The big question will be how he does in the playoffs.

If he walks for nothing they are royalty screwed - Marner has played the Cap and salary thing as well as anyone and he’ll be a Paul Kariya type for salary vs impact/playoff production

Salary going up he’ll get $11 million a year and Toronto will pay it

But it’ll hurt after Ottawa sweeps them on their own ice after Ottawa wins the Atlantic and beats Toronto i. The 1st Round

Relying on buffalo for anything is a nonstarter

Thought Murray start would mean a close game. Guresed wrong. Leafs are gonna have a division spot, almost locked in at this point. Hopefully wings and rangers find a way to lose so we don’t have too much pressure that hasn’t bode well for us in the past. Need to gap these losers.

Contract year, no surprise he's lighting it up during the regular season. Nylander did the same thing last year before his big contract. But at least he does produce a bit during the playoffs.

Leafs are the ultimate counter punching team this year. Playing good defense getting very good goaltending and capitalizing on the other teams' mistakes. But they are very beatable.

If it’s leafs paying, he’ll be getting more than 11 million, he’s coming off 10.9,

Laine another PP goal, that's 7 in 8 games. Good, don't want the Habs to get another Top-5 pick

I disagree. Kakko doesn’t have very good offensive instincts. Mediocre shot. He’s a below average skater. He has decent size but doesn’t use it very much.

He’s positionally sound and good in his own end, but he won’t create much for you. So IMO, the definition of a 3rd line winger. 33pts/82games isn’t impressive.

People say “if he got more PP time he’d score 20 points more” about lots of players… but most of the time they don’t get PP time for a reason.

If we’re paying assets for a winger to play with Stützle, I want someone who can shoot the puck and make an offensive play.

Kakko isn’t that.

Disagree but you confirm what I said? I'm confused

33 pts per 82 games is good production from your 3rd line forwards, particularly if it's almost all at ES. What do you think 3rd liners usually score? It was never meant to be "impressive"

1st line : 60+ pts
2nd line : 45+ pts
3rd line 30+ pts
4th line : 10+ pts

Kakko would bring defense, IQ and puck retrieval on that line to allow Stu and Bath to express themselves offensively even more

But as I said, the other line also need Batherson so I would actually have Kakko with Greig and Pinto on the 3rd line. I would have acquired Kakko to be able to fire Amadio to the moon.
