Wow Dallas is good, they’ve been dummying Vegas all series. Vegas in trouble in this series and their lineup could be on steep decline, their Cup window could be closed after this season.

Dallas has been absolutely nutty for the past 5 weeks or so. Should be interesting against the Aves but they looked far superior in their last match up late in the ssn. They have a broad road to the finals but they're so good.

Rangers Canes should be fast and fun.

Hopefully we get Edmonton Canucks.

I want Vegas to win but Avs Stars would be fun.

Florida should roll whoever wins Bruins/Leafs.

Ideally we wind up Florida Rangers Oilers Avs as a final 4.

I absolutely enjoy the leafs getting eliminated in the first round. I don't want their fans to experience joy.

There is no way both Marner and Tavares are retuning next year.
They are both from Toronto with full NMC though. MM maybe, if the media and fans are getting to him, but that would be a hard trade for Toronto to win. What contender will entertain a blockbuster to add a small winger that is all skill no physicality at that cap hit? What non-contender would MM waive for?

That shot of the linesman “taking down” Marchand was hilarious. More of a trip backwards when the ref grabbed him, but it looked like a takedown, and the look on Marchand’s face when he saw it was a zebra was hilarious. As was the chirping at the way to the box and the waving of the hand to take a hike at the tail end. Good stuff.

Lol
Big bad bruins struggling to clear the crease bullied by knies even though built perfectly. Chokers

Didn’t mean to quote that.

Last yea Montgomery had this team choking and they had Bergeron.

I think Marner would waive for a few teams like Florida, TB, Vegas if it came with an extension. Can’t see the fit with any of them.

Atlantic has the highest point total for the bottom 4 teams of any division, and the highest average pts overall. Only the central has a higher average among the top 4 teams of a division.

Atlantic is arguably the toughest division right now so idk what exactly you are complaining about.
you mean the Atlantic division that is on the verge of setting new records for missed playoffs.

You mean
Montreal: abysmal the last 4-6 years, less the insane covid year and fluke run
Buffalo 13 years and counting
Detroit 8 years and counting

The Metro.. which the Sens play 2 X.. bottom 6 teams are 0.500 or less (win/loss only)

The Central.. Chicago and Arizona.. closing in fast on all time futility

The Pacific.
Calgary
Anaheim
San Jose

This team played some 34 games against teams with less than 0.500 win/loss (OTL POINTS EXCLUDED).

if they had not been so incompetent and managed 35-40 points. They would have needed a mere 50-55 points from their remaining 48 games.. with 4-5 OTL points in each sector. Effectively this batch needed to be 0.500 win/loss and have 9 points of OTL.

THIS BATCH IS NOTHING MORE than worthless.. This season should have been a cake walk.

17 teams finished at 91 points or less.. in a league were you average 8-12 OTL points.
10 teams finished at 82 or less points, with 8-10 OTL points added in.

WORTHLESS!!!! f***ing worthless.

Crazy how much deeper these two teams Dallas and Vegas are compared to the Sens,

I know Vegas is over the cap but still

Big win for Big D. Definitely would like to seem them knock out Vegas

Eh we always play Dallas tough.

We definitely need a few upgrades in a few known spots, most noticeable in net, but with a couple savvy acquisitions we’re not that far behind given how young we are.

New regime has to have a huge off season. Not necessarily quantity, all about quality.

What we need is to see our team in the playoffs to see who the gamers are, and for the guys to see who the gamers are.
