You just feel like if Toronto could get a bounce or two that this could be their year. These days the first round is often the most difficult; once you win that one you're rolling.

Ottawa, ON
Boston looks like they’ve been figured out. Another embarassing collapse coming for the second year in a row. Absolutely fumbling the Matthews injury gift.

Boston is gonna have to win this game 1-0 on a Leafs own goal the way they’re handling the puck.

It's crazy that they stuck with Samsonov for so long. He's so bad.

Yeah, the carriage has turn back into a pumpkin for the Bruins.

They're still punching above their weight when it comes to team skill...but it isn't enough.
When you have a top goalie, if he's on his game you are never out of it.

I'd almost rather be the team being outshot 4-1 in a 0-0 tie than the one doing the outshooting, especially when there isn't a huge discrepancy between the teams. Not to mention the PP advantage to Toronto & the fact that Boston has the best goal scorer tonight.

Welp, spoke too soon!

Definitely gonna be tough for Boston to get two.

The same as it would be if they get eliminated in the 2nd round.
Well, kinda. Technically but not necessarily.

If Boston loses in round 1 and Toronto loses in round 2, then it's the same either way. But if Toronto beats Boston and makes it to rnd 3, Boston's pick will be bumped up by one slot.
