Makar is significantly more physically talented than Fox. He is faster, has better hands, and a better shot. In spite of all of that, he isn’t a much better player than Fox, if at all. I understand why some people can’t see that.

Man, people really lose all perspective because of a few highlight reels. My reaction is the exact opposite of yours. Both of these teams are so sloppy and horrific defensively and in net that I think whichever team comes out of the East literally humiliates them.

No way we catch the Avs when they turn on the jets. We gave away seemingly infinite odd-man rushes and more than a few breakaways against the Penguins and Carolina — both substantially slower and, I’d argue, less talented than the Avs. I think we can handle the Oilers in 6. The Avs are the ones that worry me.
