That's three straight goalies we made look like Hasek in his prime only for them to look below average in their next game (Hellebuyck, Husso and now Kuemper).
We obviously just tired out those goalies for the teams that played them next.
That's the only logical conclusion....

Cozens hat trick. Kid is a stud.

Loved that kid in 2019. Probably could quote a dozen+ posts of mine on here praying we drafted him at #7, before of course we ended up winning the lottery and moving up to get Kakko.

Did swear up and down on here that Cozens > Dach. Dach is performing much better now that he's in MTL, just was absolutely crazy at the time IMO that he went #3 that year.
Unreal Kakko and Lafreniere yet to have a 3 point game in their career. You honestly can't make this shit up.
I'm not gonna look but hopefully K"Andre has had a three point game at least.

When I say they're soft I mean generally they arent hard to play against - and they're not. They don't impose much of anything on other teams, speed physicality or positioning. When they do they completely crush which makes us all blame effort, laziness, being soft. Because it kind of is.

They play a very honest and clean game and take what they're given instead of taking what they want. This can kind of work with a specific speedy trapping counter team but they are none of those things. Theres no structure to compensate enough and they don't adhere to it to that level anyway.

A nice generalist squad who's gonna get beat by teams who play to their strength. What's the Rangers strength?

The bolded hasn't been the case since the ASB. They've been trying to take everything and end up giving up almost as much (and in some cases, more) in the end. I wouldn't call their game clean or honest, theres been a whole lot of f***ery happening. Its a pretty easy fix but it's been lingering around for way longer than it should be hanging around.

That said, I don't like the direction they're seemingly committing to going in. These high event track meet type teams always bow out early in the playoffs and the goaltending hasn't been nearly good enough to justify playing this way. I would rather they play low event hockey since thats what most good teams end up defaulting to in the playoffs anyway, even with the additions they've made and are likely to make in the next few days.

Sounds like it's gonna cost the Debbies a haul and there haven't been any contract negotiations. Best case scenario is they give up a ton and he peace's out this summer. But yeah, that team probably beats us in a best of 7 the way the Rangers D has looked.
