Frolov was a hell of a player.

You see how much love and praise someone like Tyler Toffoli gets yet Fro was a far superior player that never got as much recognition since many of the current Kings fans didn't start watching the team until 2012-2015.

I'd say the one knock on Frolov was that he lacked intensity. If the guy was able to break through that and really be a force, he would've been in the top 5 in the league for forwards. Amazing skill set and able to use his body to shield the puck and find other players.

You nailed it. He was so big and strong along the boards; mix that with his vision and he was a top tier 1st liner. I love him sm

It's amazing when you have nothing to play for and let your top picks play anyway they feel like, with ZERO pressure or responsibility. Remember how great Brian Boyle was the last few weeks in 2007, then the next season ...DUD!

I know most people would rather Vegas miss, but I think Vegas getting the WC2 and facing the Avs would be pretty awesome. If they figured it out they could challenge the Avs, Dallas would be cannon fodder.

I have been a fan since the mid 90's. I was not a frolov fan during his time as a King. Looking back I am not sure why. I honestly think I may have been brain washed on the Russian factor or something. Maybe just his style of play was more to today's game than when he did play.
Loved Palffy though.

Easy to give those guys the minutes when you are out of the playoffs and have nothing to play for.
