Dallas forces a game seven. Oilers and Flames are pretty much the same team. One line and the rest are just trash. They might get past the first round but Both Colorado and St. Louis should beat them. Not impressed with either team.

Edit: Jake Oettinger is going to be a good one. Drafted in 2017 26th overall. Glad we didn't have a 2017 draft pick. ;)

No, the Blues are a skilled team. Four point-per-game players (Thomas, Tarasenko, Kyrou, Buchnevich), another player who scored at a 75 point pace (Schenn). Barbashev, ROR, Perron and Saad are there 6-7-8-9 scorers, yeah nice problem to have.

But many insisted the Wild and their toughness and size were "built for the playoffs". An archaic way of thinking that you can only win with certain types of players or teams, which is proven false most post-seasons but comes back strong as a myth every spring.
I saw the Wild against the Kings and the Oilers and they were easily the best of the 3 sides. They execute the system very well and there is always good support to the puck carrier offensively and they play a good team defensive game. Kiprisov is the standout player and actually impressed me more than McDavid as he’s much more prepared to go to the tough areas (Yes, it’s a very small sample size). He also works harder defensively and plays every shift, not picking his spots.

With the teams in the conference I think if they had gotten past St Louis they’d have had a good run. This was always a tough matchup for them. They lack a genuine top 10 C and without that Kiprisov is the only X-factor player and he’s clearly had a good series with 7g in 6gp. However because St Louis are comfortable against the heavier game their extra skill was always an issue. The Wild really needed Fleury to have a big series.

It appears a good bench that can bench is needed to win games at home :skeptic:

Dallas made a wise decision in going back to their green uniforms. One of the more unique color schemes in the NHL. It's a shame so many teams wear purple and old, or I am sure the Kings would go back to those and make it part of their identity.

I love DDallas.
I would still have to give it to the woman sitting behind the Phoenix bench in 2012.
