If accurate, that is a textbook bankruptcy preference that the trustee has the fiduciary duty to claw back from the casino. The bankruptcy preference period is 90 days. Just ask Lenny Dykstra how serious bankruptcy fraud is taken. And that was only over $200k based on the restitution amount.

Any felony convictions in the above areas would be deportation level offenses. And it just comes down to the question of do you really trust Kane not to have done something stupid?

He has been to the conference finals in back to back seasons, losing to the juggernaut Bolts in 6 and 7 games respectively. They have arguably had the second most success of any team since he took over. They have a few seasons to try to break through and he is going for it. It's not like he is making these moves and missing the playoffs or losing in the first round.

That's nice, but you're judged on championships. Otherwise people would praise the Sharks more.

Well, we have yet to see whether or not they can break through, but what we have seen is that he has taken a team that had won 1 playoff round since 92 and turned them into a top tier team in short order. Criticizing him at this juncture is a weird take in my opinion. At least wait until his team flames out and then I guess you can say he sucks because he only built a team that made back to back conference finals instead of beating the Bolts.
 
I never would have thought I have a greater net worth than a 30 year old 1st line winger in the middle of a 7 year $7 million AAV contract.

Of course so does anyone else with a positive net worth.

Just trolling a bit, but I do get tired of the Lou love fest. He's so special he can wait for days or weeks on end to announce the contracts he's signed, unlike the everyone else in the business. Other GMs are signing ridiculous cap circumventing contracts? Well I'm Lou, so I'm going to sign Kovalchuk for 1000 years.

Go luck into Scott Stevens again sir.
 
I'm by no means a Lou fanboy, but he's been around long enough to be called a top tier GM. Compared to the field that's maybe not that flattering, but you have to be good enough to EARN the opportunity to wreck a few teams!

For sure. But when I started hearing Devils fans with the don't worry about Lou's cap attitude, it was just, ok, take it down a notch. The superstar GM hasn't won anything in the cap era.

I think that cap number is counting Klefbom who will most certainly be placed on LTIR.

Can't believe Koskinen has a 15 team M-NTC. Jeebus. Those get given out like candy.

I wouldn't use the word inspiring to describe McKinnon. The practice bit sounds nuts. The dumping out the junk food sounds much but if the entire team is on board then fine.

NHL radio GM report cards today. Show opened with the Ducks getting a big fat F, haha! Not a single compliment.

Sounds like the Kings are getting a much better grade (probably something like a C or C+).

if it an offseason grade? I would think Rob has done much better than a C or C+. I say B+ or A-. Only thing he was unable to do was get that LHD this offseason, but he had a great draft, added two top 6 forwards, a serviceable LHD and only spent a 2nd and 3rd rounder to do it.

It accounts for the whole season including up to today. So basically next year will be from today to the day they do it next season. The season was awful, but that's expected. Everything post season ending has been very solid.
