Im pretty sure the only runs that come close are Thomas’s run in 2011 and Roy’s run in 2001.

Thomas' run was great, but Giguere's run (in the 2003 loss) was the only one to actually come close statistically. For goalies with 16 or more games played, Quick tops the list for highest SV% and lowest GAA.

Mike Smith in 3rd from the same season. Nice reminder for the "Kings had an easy path" crowd.

Shoulda been Kucherov's Conn Smythe imo but my tinfoil hat says they didn't want to do that for the optics of his comeback.

Quick’s 2012 season was one of the all time greatest. He was robbed of a Vezina.

Totally and that season in particular is why I will never suffer East Coast fools complaining about Doughty's Norris being 'due', the amount of hoops a Pacific Time player has to go through to win awards is absurd. Quick got CRUSHED in that vote too basically 2-1, Pekka Rinne was close enough behind him that Quick could have finished 3rd LOL

Anyone else hear Eddie O defend Tampa for being over the cap in order to win the cup with the traded that got them there?

Those votes reeked of east coast bias/sexy pick. 80 pct of the 1st place votes for 4 more wins and a 1 pct difference in gaa/sv pct.
But hey, who won the cup?

They'll screw up the vote and a few years later give it to said player because he's "overdue". Total nonsense.

And while we're complaining, Kopitar should have won the Hart in 2018!

What a legend.

What a huge piece of shit but

1. he earned it
2. if there's one guy to let it all out it's him
3. this is one for the books  "#1 bullshit" shirtless while chugging a beer, i can't hate that

I don't at all like him going after fans and Fleury but like I said, he's a huge piece of shit so no surprise there

Somehow it doesn't bother me. I don't like the Fleury remarks at all, but it's bar/lockerroom shit talk and he just went beast mode in 2 playoffs and won 2 Cups in a row. Like I said earlier, he's my guy when I need a playoff win, absolute lights out in the playoffs.

I should've specified Cup *winning* goaltenders.

But yes, there are quite a few from non-Cup winning goaltenders (like Giguere's 2003).
