Winnipeg is a very good team this year.Sens look exactly like you'd expect a travis team to look, they're gonna blow it and have a potentially rough offseason upcoming
Only on the Avs broadcast do you hear words like "danglelicious"
Employment opportunities along with infrastructure like roads, public transportation and services like Hospitals, schools, doctors, community centers, etc. are factors for people to moving 90 minutes or more out of the city center. That sounds good in theory but most of the high paying office jobs are still located at or near the downtown areas of major cities.
There was a time during Covid that people are able to expand outwards due to being allowed to WFH, but with the (illogical) strong push to get everybody in the office, and a large increase to population in the country, you get insane traffic during rush hours at these major cities. I think there are lots of appetites for employees to move away from downtowns, but until there is a change in employers' mindset (not happening), a significant portion of people are forced to live and/or commute to the city centers daily.
Aww won't something think of the poor shitbag who openly supports a political leader that wants to annex our country and is constantly threatening to impose tariffs

You wonder about "Canadians" like Gretzky and Orr, they must REALLY align with Trump if they watch what's going on right now and think "yea I don't need to stand up for my home country."The funny thing is that Gretzky could undo most of the damage he has done to his reputation in Canada by issuing a fluff PR statement where he just says that as a proud Canadian he doesn't support Trump's annexation comments or tariff proposals. He won't undo all the damage that he has created, but it would go far.
Like, people didn't love his affiliation with Trump pre-annexation/tariff comments, but it wasn't that big of a deal nor discussed much in Canada.

They have all the money, fame, privilege, etc that they can ever want, so it isn't like they rely on Trump for anything. I also can't see them being scared of him either, so what is going on? Is Wayne scared that Janet will be mad if he say anything negative about the States? Is he worried about his standing within his millionaire club would be in jeopardy if he is critical of the president? Lose access to some exclusive golf memberships maybe? His children's future within the states? Like I really can't think of any other reason a patriot would stand by and watch this and acted the way he did, I really can't.
once 34-year-old Ekholm starts to regress that’s going to look even worse, somehow.
