I don't know if they are delusional or just cocky from sweeping the oilers, but there are some hot ass takes in there. Funniest thing being that our D are "slow" and easy to pressure. Muzzin and Bogosion are our only slow D, but they serve their purpose well. Reilly, Dermott, Sandin and Brodie more than hold their own in speed.

2nd hot take was their depth is miles ahead of ours. okay.

3rd- our goal tending isnt good. this narrative simply has to end. Campbell has more than proved himself.

its still a lot closer then what theyre making it out to be. If we make it through, i expect this series to be close as hell. They sweep Edmonton and all of the sudden they think their team is unbeatable. Theyre over rated if you ask me. still good, but over rated

I'm enjoying them sweeping McDrailers.

I think any team that sweeps will be a bit cocky/arrogant. I know it was fairly close each game but that's how she goes.

Shutting down those two is a collective effort and good on them for doing it. Any team's fans will be excited when you can neuter talent like that. Scheifele, Ehlers, etc were all very good against them. If Jets stick to that kind of play they will be a tough out.

We'll have to see though, because other teams have real depth that shows up as opposed to the crap Oilers have.
 
Do all three of the series with games today, end today?

I could see two of the closing out for sure (Tampa and Vegas). I am leaning towards PIT extending that series.

Can we talk about their defence now? Because they don’t have any.

We’ll see if Hellybuck can steal back to back series. If not, the Leafs are going to outclass them like they have every team in the North all year long.

Yep. Definitely one of the strangest myths that emerged this season.

The way people talk every other division is stacked and the North was just garbage. Which was nonsense.

The Leafs-Habs series has been the least sloppy by far from what I have seen. Outside of some dumb penalties for delay of game and stuff like that, both teams have to earn their scoring opportunities. The amount of unforced turnovers and mind-numbing errors that have led to quality scoring chances against or goals is ridiculous.

If those teams continue doing that, they are going to be out fast. The only reason why some of these series remain close is because both teams are doing it.

Islander fans trumping that Leafs/Habs is boring dull hockey compared to hockey in American cities without mentioning the no fans in the stands.

islanders have 12 shots right now against Pitt. And Pitt has 13 mid way though the second period. Now that’s dull hockey.

The fans matter. Don’t get me wrong. But to say Leads/Habs or Oilers/Jets was boring hockey is nonsense. Can you imagine if Leafs/Habs had full capacity fans??? I guess Islander fans would complain about the color of JTs pjs.

they are also saying any landers resurgence is because he isn’t playing with JT.
Just anything to undermine JT or the Leafs.
 
Thats a tough one to stop but when you have played like how Jarry is, you need a stop there. Also Crosby hasn't shown up in the last 3 series including this one.
