Edmonton down 2-0 and they're likely going to play Koskinen on their back to back. Does Winnipeg sweep?

Sens and their fans were finally allowed to visit golf courses today. The team has been trying to get teeing time since January though. Amazing commentary on the Leafs from them today.

Feels like a few of these 1st round series are all but wrapped up.

In the West, COL and VEG were clearly the best teams all season long. They have brought that the playoffs. That West final is going to be something to watch, heck even their regular season matchups were good tv.

I am kinda surprised that BOS has the lead they do, but the Caps goaltending has been a bit of an issue. How many years do we say this is one final run for the Bruins with that core?

Tampa is benefitting from some horrible goaltending from FLA... but lets be serious, these teams are not playing much defence and FLA running around at the end of Game 4 was lame. I was sorta pulling for the Panthers, but I can't respect that nonsense. CAR v TB in the Central final would be as good to watch as the West final.

Crazy that STL and WAS could be done tomrrow and EDM could be down oh-three!!

Have to say, the games have been fun to watch for the most part. Being reminded of what the fans bring has been awesome.

Florida is dirty af
The last two games of the regular season between those teams were pretty nasty with a lot of fights. It was somewhat tame in their playoff matches until their last game.

Has there been an update on Kucherov? My guess is he will play the next game.

Pretty obvious from watching the rest of the league that Montreal, Edmonton and Winnipeg are easily the 3 worst teams to make the playoffs.

St. Louis is really bad. Even Montreal would put up a better fight against Colorado right now.

Rest of the league has had some really sloppy defensive efforts as well. I have watched 10 minutes of the NSH-CAR game today and there have been more odd man rushes than both of our games combined... And it's not even because of skilled offensive plays. Guys just did not have basic positioning.

What I'm more talking about is that all three teams are extremely flawed in ways that a lot of the American teams are not.

Montreal - no gamebreakers
Edmonton - no depth + mediocre defence
Winnipeg - team more reliant on goaltending and rush offence

It would be a brutal failure if Toronto can't get to the conference finals this year.

At.the same time I think the playoffs have shown that the better teams from other divisions also quite as good as folks make them out to be.

There's been a lot of sloppy play all around this playoffs so far

Considering the Leafs could realistically be going up against either Carolina or Tampa/Florida, it would be nice if both series could go far.

Spencer Knight could extend the series for Florida. They have everything except a competent goalie and he screams a guy who can come in and steal a series as a young player.

Even if the leafs knock out the habs, the jets, will be difficult to beat.
