i don’t want special teams to be rendered non existent. Otherwise, what is the purpose of having a power play or penalty kill?
If we get a Habs/Isles final, talent and skill mean nothing
Will you boycott your mom's cooking? If we get a Habs/Isles final, talent and skill mean nothing
Price, Caufield, Suzuki, Toffoli, Weber, Petry, Gallagher = no skill? If we get a Habs/Isles final, talent and skill mean nothing
The obsession with marginal players because HEART is why in playoff hockey, a team full of Matt Martins will beat a team full of Nathan MacKinnons because the rulebook favors the less talented
You obviously don’t appreciate playoff hockey, or maybe it’s envy? Nothing boring about the playoffs this year, I’m throughly enjoying each series, and so should you if your a hockey fan as opposed to just a Leaf fan, but to each his own.........The possibility of this no talent no skill Isles team of pluggers and grinders and goons winning the Cup makes me almost want to root for another lockout
I think I may have to quit watching this league if it's a Montreal NYI final.

Skill and talent are useless without drive and desire, that’s the truth of the matter. If we get a Habs/Isles final, talent and skill mean nothing
If I’m going to war, I want Clutterbut, Martin, and Uncle Leo in the trench beside me, AM, MM, WN, not so much......Uncle Leo is still a very effective player and a great motivator. Watching him last night his impact is certainly “beyond the score sheet”. The old guy still has game.
I hear rhythmic gymnastics is bitchin?Newsflash: The team with the most talent and skill usually does not win the SC because hockey allows body contact. If it irks you that much, you may want to switch to non contact sport like the women's hockey league or soccer.

True that, after a season of the brand of hockey the Leafs play I get discouraged about hockey, then the playoffs come along and i’m reinspired.I personally got tired and bored of the shiny that we saw this season in the North Division. So refreshing watching players put it all on the line to win a hockey game. Players who avoid contact should have chosen baseball or soccer.

The current version of the Leafs remind me of a Northern Pikes song:Islanders have the "Identity" line. We have no identity.

Islanders have the "Identity" line. We have no identity.
To be fair, our identity is well known throughout the league. Soft and easy to throw off with physical play.Islanders have the "Identity" line. We have no identity.

No shit dude.because playoff hockey lets the less talented teams get away with physical dirty muck and grind antics
