Boston Bruins (Colin Miller, #48) vs. Washington Capitals (Justin Williams, #14) at 4 pm PST today on the NHL Network. Justin Williams on the second line, possibly having one center for half the game and a second center for the other half. Colin Miller has had a very good camp and has a chance of making the big club. However, he wouldn't need to clear waivers if sent down.

This is just wrong.

Some have called the Hawks org "tone deaf" in relation to the Kane saga and that's just one more piece of evidence of this and it just panders to the fans that have been vocally abusive to anyone that suggests anything but Kane's innocence. Disgusting. There's two-three really strong articles out there that explain why much better than I can but can't post them right now on the run.

No way in hell the NHL okays an LTIR of Bickell after all of their actions have been trying to move him then bury him. Before anyone suggests M. Richards let's not forget there was a buyout incoming.

I wonder if it boils down to a dumb sunk-cost fallacy. "Gee, we already ordered the bobbleheads, and paid for the printed material. It would be a waste of money not to go ahead with this...."

If bickell goes LTIR after the **** the hawks pulled at the deadline last year I will be pissed

Hawks have been playing by a different set of rules lately. Well, not completely different, just liberal interpretations of the current rules and precedents to the extreme. They're getting the benefit of every last doubt so if Bickell gets LTIR'ed there had better be some rage from other GMs.

Funny enough, as much as people may crap on the Kings and call their runs lucky, there's a kind of mystique and reverence former Kings players are being treated with on other teams when they move on from the Kings.

That whole article about Williams on the Capitals and how it feels like the whole room is waiting for him to deliver some pearl of ultimate wisdom like he's Buhdda.. It's interesting to say the least.

I still don't like the Lucic trade...

:D

That's because players and organizations don't think it was luck. Only dumbass jealous fans do.

All the more reason to be glad that results are decided on the ice and not by fan opinion.

You could probably count on just 2 hands the number of hockey fans from around the league who wanted the Kings to make the postseason last year.

I'm pretty sure the 3 guys in the box for BOS and the 3 guys in the box for WASH are about to climb over the glass and fight in the time keeper area. Took some major stones by Oshie to fight McQuade.

Ref's getting involved.

Justin Williams pretty active in this game.

ETA: there you go, Capitals player of the game.

Yikes
@azc_mclellan
#Coyotes finish preseason 0-5-1 and having gone 200:29 regulation minutes without a goal -- 205:25 adding overtime.

They have a point.

A running clock against Tampa would eliminate us.
Trailing 3-0 and win 4-3 against the sharks i massive luck.
Vancouver game 7, the Canucks hit the post 2 times we scvore and end the series....

Just saying

Why stop there? Keep going and we may end up with McDavid in your world of hypotheticals.
