I really really hope Treliving takes advantage of the Flames situation. Things are about to get really ugly there.

Besides the piss poor goaltending and defence the Oilers offensive depth is also overrated imo. Kane, Hyman, and RNH only go as well as McDavid and Draisaitl do, and Hyman and RNH are nowhere near as dangerous offensively as last years career highs would have one believe. And after those 5 it’s an extreme drop-off in terms of offensive prowess up front.

Calgary I don’t know what their plan is. They want to remain competitive and re-sign all their guys yet they traded the one guy who could consistently put the puck in the back of the net. I get that they’re in a shite position due to the long term deals they handed out to Huberdeau, Kadri, and Weegar but Christ they seem directionless.
