I think the Middlestadt trade is honestly the better one. Feel like it'll pay dividends for the long haul.

We all start fantasizing about the players that we could use to upgrade in UFA and one by one they will re-sign with they clubs over the coming months leaving only a couple and then it’ll be a bidding war for their services which we are not going to be well positioned to win.
It’s a big part of why I’ve been against the stand pat mentality.
