Yeah sometimes these bigger bodies take a lot longer but when they hit their mid to late 20s look out.
We developed Engvall, unfortunately he was afraid of his own shadow. Noticed not much has changed on the Island yesterday when he stood on the perimeter of a scrum.

Rangers had two 6'7" wingers on their 4th line yesterday. Not sure what Edstrom is but Rempe beat up Martin on his first shift in the NHL.

Meanwhile Kyle was drafting undervalued smurfs like 5'8" 147 lb Joe Miller Lite with the 180th pick.

#68 is officially in the rafters

They mentioned a funny story, in 99 Pens filled Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Jagr got hurt at the beginning of the playoffs, and with a groin injury he came back, scoring to force OT and OT GW,additional revenue from 2nd round vs Toronto saved Pens, and thus this is by many considered the most important goal in Pens history.

Odd thing to cherry pick considering he took Tverberg a round later in the 7th, and is having a great promising first season with the Marlies

And Hildeby is 6'7", Knies is 6'4", Lisowsky is 5'9". Player heights differ, and cherry picking a our smallest player and their tallest isn't really indicative of much.

Dubas' average height of players drafted while he was here (from the not-always-reliable hockeydb) is 5'11.6". Smaller than the average height around the league, but not that wild.

Plus, as Bert alluded to, I'd rather have a guy like Tverberg projecting well in the AHL than Rempe who is tall, but hasn't cracked 15 points in the AHL

Interestingly Miller has actually had both a growth spurt (is currently 5'10 and about 170) and has quite a positive development arch, current close to ppg as a college sophomore.

For a 6th round pick, it's hard to expect more at this point.

It's pretty funny when I see people talking about height...People love Wendel Clark... Clark's height? 5'11.
Bedard is 5'10 (prolly being generous ?)
Hell our Easton Cowan is 5'11 the boy is lighting it up.

Then let's look at Freddy Gauthier... a great hang, chill dude to talk to, 6'5 took him over Shea Theodore 6'2. (still cry about this one...)
We took Rinal Valiev 6'01 over... 5'9 Brayden Point...who do you think we should've gone for.

Bruins been getting cleaned out in this game. Swayman has kept them in it with a chance.
Boston is crumbling. They held on for much longer than I expected this season, but their deficiencies are finally getting the best of them. No secondary scoring.

They have a pretty tough next 5 games as well(we do as well to be fair). I am curious how close we can get to them by the March 4th game.

They really are the best first round opponent for the Leafs. The Leafs would never be out of any game against them.

They could use no primary scoring too. Slump for Pasta and they are screwed.

Yup you also need heart. Goat and Engvall were tall but that was about it. Wendel brought everything.

Love to get a Branden Point. Again another guy with heart and is a fierce competitor.
