they'll turn it up against us whenever we get them... as if their life depended on it. Was the most perplexing thing ever last season
Last year we actually did well against Buffalo, I think it was the 21-22 season where they swept us though.

Buffalo looks terrible. Losing points to Calgary and TTOE is not the route to the playoffs

Good to see Montreal take points from Buffalo.
I’d like to see TTOE just miss the playoffs but I‘d also like Buffalo to make it.

That's Marner money with term. If he puts up 100+ points again and wants to stay, he can get more if he wants.
Petey has become a force at both ends of the rink. It wouldn't be surprising to see him up for the Selke soon.

Petey could get 12+

On a related thought, I do find it ironic that these forums won't allow such threads about it to take place because it is political, whereas fans who don't care for things like this because it mixes politics with sports get shunned upon. :dunno:

It's a strange situation because we aren't allowed to talk about certain aspects of the NHL even though this is a site dedicated to the NHL and the NHL is a very politically motivated league.

Sports and politics have been intertwined since sports were created. Always has been, always will be. You could even say, Sport itself is politics, nationalistic pride, local team pride, State Nationalism.... Sports has been involved in politics, and honouring peoples, armed forces, law enforcement, firefighting, black history month, cancer... and it's been fine for decades upon decade... only with this issue does it change. Hmmm

If you have been around long enough to see the old Politics form, you would know why.

To call it a f***ing cesspool would be an improvement

Unfortunately, as time has proven again and again on these types of topics, is that maintaining a civil discussion is impossible. There are asshat posters on both sides that derail things into a colossal shit show, and moderating is becomes nearly impossible.

Yeah I didn't really buy into the hype for them this year. They overachieved offensively last year and they're a mess defensively. Don't think they can outscore their issues again

The hype has been going for how long now? Nobody should care about Buffaloat this point.

Lightning playing like the lightning now. Back to the scrums and little shots after the whistle
