Unless he got injured after today's game, no. He had 4 assists lol
Nice.

If I were Jacques Martin I’d tell the Sens to imagine every opponent they face is wearing blue and white jerseys with a maple leaf crest to motivate them. Seems to be the only time the Sens try is when they face us. f***ing garbage Ottawa lays down for everyone but us.
Quite interesting to see why that’s the case. Don’t think a lot of the Sens players are Sens fans since little thus they probably didn’t live through the Battle of Ontario. Did their coach and MGt gave them the pep talk like, you can lose every games as long as you beat the Leafs.

Let them. That's all they've got. Now the excuse is the team has to unlearn all the bad habits brought on by DJ Smith.

My goodness. With all the injuries, the Blackhawks lineup is horrible. It was bad to begin with but they are with San Jose right now for wondering who most are

"Injuries" when you're purposely bad aren't always what they seem. Not that there aren't legitimate injuries but when you're trying to lose a day to day thing becomes a week to week thing and anything players regularly play through but might require offseason surgery becomes immediate season ending surgery.

Anyone remember all the "season ending" injuries any veteran with a modicum of ability suffered when we were tanking for Matthews.

That team is so weirdly unmotivated.

The Chicago Blackhawks inflicted so much damage to themselves just to get a chance at Bedard, offloading a pretty respectable young group of DeBrincat, Dach, Strome, Hagel I think they'll end up spending a lot of time just getting back to mediocrity.

Kadri and Huberdeau both show up and the Flames still lose to Chi.

Kadri has been fine, but the 2 are rarely on the scoresheet together

Think they waited too long to can DJ this season. Most of them probably feel like the season is already over and besides a few games against marquee rivals like us I doubt we'll see much fight in them for the rest of the year.
Completely agree. I appreciate that the ownership change effectively froze what most of the front office could do until the sale was completed, but Smith should have been replaced much earlier in the season. They have needlessly burned through yet another season.

Gudas is at it again.

This reminds me exactly of the Leafs with Marchand taking out Liljegren.

Why is nobody punching Gudas in his stupid ugly face? He was clearly trying to initiate something for the cheap shot to Larkin. At a time like this somebody really needs to put this guy in his place.

You know why Larkin seems to take a lot more cheap shots than anybody else in the league?

Because the Detroit Red Wings are a bunch of pansies. Same as the Leafs. Too afraid to stand up for themselves.

So other teams take liberties with their stars.

There's no honour in this. Detroit and Toronto will never win anything. Not so long as they allow other team's grunts to dictate the outcome of the game.

Yellow bellied pacifist behaviour like that has no place in a sport like hockey.

That's what the Leafs said about Marchand when Liljegren got hurt.

True, but when you stop projecting Marchand on Gudas, it was nothing burger play.

A shoulder on shoulder first, meh slew foot spin o Rama (or how you wanna call it) had close to 0 potential for injury since by then they both had almost no speed.

Clean? No, but making an article about the dirtiest play of the season? rofl :DD

I think slew foots are dangerous.

But if you don't hey good for you. I'm not gonna try and convince you otherwise. Feel free to cheer all you want the next time a Leafs player leaves the ice on a stretcher.

If it's Captain Boat Anchor you probably won't be the only one.

That's a quality trade of young assets. Good on PHI for adding to their present and future, but wow...this swap should be a really good one for ANA as well before too long.
