Right now I'd put my money on a Rangers vs Colorado Stanley cup. Maybe Vegas again.

I'd love to say the Leafs but they really need Woll back and he needs to stay healthy. They also need at least more top flight d man but not sure how you get that guy without giving up a lot.

I like it better here when they're bad or mediocre. That fanbase is beyond insufferable when they have a good team.

I have watched quite a few Canuck games this year. They look pretty good. Outside of the Leaf game

They have overhauled their d-corps in the past 8 months and they look like they buy into Tocchet's system.

I have a buddy who moved from Van to Tor just over 20 years ago. Over the course of our friendship I have kind of adopted the Canucks as a psuedo second team. He has done the same with the Leafs (who he despised while living in Van).

His kids are all Leaf fans so I feel bad for him and quietly still hope for the Canucks to do well

League is so watered down that if you have a "This is Sparta" small elite army playing well, you are basically unbeatable.

This is where most of my hate for Dubas comes from. I will never accept we don't have a cheat code core. How much of an idiot do you have to be not to have a Cup by now with our core. I can write 100000 pages (without even bringing up cap space) on how Dubas sabotaged the amigos + JT and Rielly.

We went 7 games in every series (drought phase) in which even one more average depth performance would have pushed us through.

We used Jack Cambell in multiple playoff series we should have easily won yet it was the core and not the GM's fault.

We dominated Tampa and Campbell went 3.15 and .897. If that's not sabotage by the GM I don't know what is. That's only page 1 of 1000000

The core actually did dominate Tampa heavy in 21/22. In hindsight we should have won that in 5 or 6 games
