I'm here with my poor reading skills thinking 39 cents above average is not that bad !
after realizing its 39 cents on every 1$.
The fans call it ML$E for a reason.

Attending a Leafs regular season game would run a family of four an average of $859.68. The price includes four tickets, four hot dogs, two beers and two soft drinks. That's 39 per cent more than the NHL average of $517.60.

The Arizona Coyotes have won 5 Straight against the last 5 Stanley Cup Champions
Toronto is expensive, costs far more to go to a concert than a Leaf game. I doubt a second team would be that much cheaper.Toronto/surrounding area needs a second team so bad.

If someone does something 30 times and complains about it, they're an idiot.Do people go to 30+ concerts a year?
Must be many people with cash to burn, but of course they're not getting all the press clippings ... negative sells.
Lol I used to easy before kids. Still hit up shows when I can, local and what not. Already have GreenDay, Less than Jake, TYR lined up for next year, there's still Blind Guardian, NOFX' last show which is stil TBD, Limblifter have a gig at the horseshoe, Priest is apparently gonna hitting up Toronto with a new album out. ECT ECT!Do people go to 30+ concerts a year?

Tell me about it!Before kids you don't have to buy multiple tickets for games either.
Sharks with a huge comeback against the Isles.
It was 4-1 with 10 minutes to go.....sounds awfully familiar.
I personally don’t blame themWhat fans pay on the average night out at a Toronto Maple Leafs game

That's ML$E's motto for anyone who didn't know. I guess bankruptcy would be a life altering event. God knows I would be in hock for months if I ever paid that much to attend a game.
How anyone can even try and pretend it's not all about the money is beyond me.
This is a team that hasn't even come close to sniffing a cup in decades. Who's hardworking blue collar fans are being priced out of the arena. It now costs a mortgage payment to bring your family to a game.
There is no honour in this.
ML$E expects fans with more money than brains to just pay the price and cheer. Regardless if they ever contend for a cup or not. It's pretty obvious their working philosophy is much different than the official motto.
A sucker is born every minute.

us fans are the idiots that keep going and selling out all the games.
So Leafy tonight. Comeback from 3 down in the third just to give up the winner with 35 seconds left.Canucks look prime for a fall. Fortunately for them the rest of the teams below them in the Pacific are crap. Though Edmonton is looking better.
Are the Wings legit?
Kings are 5-4-3 at home and 10-0-0 on the road this season.
