Leafs should aim higher, they have enough 5/6 defensemen. Sure he's probably a second pair guy on the current depth chart but save those two picks for a deal to get a better player.

If they get two players better than Zadorov (not unreasonable) and start to get healthy then you spent a 3rd and 5th for someone sitting in the Press Box or rotating in as the #6.

Don't need to spend 2 picks for something you have enough of already, Lily/Gio/Timm etc

Tanev has always made more sense. Perfect partner to pair with Rielly.

I am not sold Calgary is dealing with BT anyways. Unless it looks like a clear cut win, the optics would be bad in Calgary.

Zadorov isn't all that great, and I believe people here would be furious with him real fast. He throws the odd big hit but doesn't clear the net like a guy with his size should.

It's tough to watch a dynasty fall. Tampa really needs to make the hard decision on Stamkos. There is no reason for them to resign him, which means the logical thing to do is trade him at the deadline this year. He would bring back some decent assets for Tampa.

Woll has been quite solid

We really want that elite #1 goalie so it's easy to dissect one when they're not, but there's a lot to like so far with Woll as a quality tender in the league.

He's only had 24 career regular season starts and 4 playoff starts... Like, that's really raw.
