That defense, and that coach, who everyone hates, including Panther fans, just beat the big bad Bruins. Enough with predictions. Literally anything can happen.
Yea anything can happen. Panthers left it all on the ice all series. I wish the Kings played with that sort of moxie. They did last season and it took them further than they should have on paper.
This season they went as far as their skill and system allowed them.

Any model that has a team other than the Bruins as the best/strongest team in the league is trash., and it's not debatable. The Bruins have 15 more wins than the Oilers, FIFTEEN. The Bruins are +128 in goal differential, second best in the league is +67 (and that's not even the Oilers). I mean, come on. They should feel embarrassed for not adjusting their model after it spit out that crap
@Schrute farms beets
@lumbergh
@guderian

Still think the models that don't have the Bruins as #1 are trash?

I've been saying for awhile the Oilers and the best team and Boston will flame out early.

(Yes I realize this post is a petty 'I told you so'. I'm not above it.)

But everyone tells me winning is about "leadership" and "mental toughness" and the Bruins had god's gift to hockey Patrice Bergeron.

How could this have happened?

Edwards has sounded like that a lot recently. I think he’s going through some speech impediments. I really don’t think it has anything to do with alcohol. You can tell he’s struggling to talk.

I believe you. I tuned him out years ago and not intending to imply anything. Just that’s what it sounds like. Gotta be hard for a guy who talks for a living to not be able to.

I'd love to see them try to shut down or at least slow down McDrai in a series

Someone will. The most common factor was no sticks in the lanes and a very passive kill. The Kings most successful kill was the 2nd one last night when they were agreesive at the blueline and got sticks in the lanes preventing the cross ice pass. It took 16 pk's to finally figure it out. It was too late.

Bruins fans are killing them for not having won all this time since 2011. They have the best record in the league since 11-12, and no 2nd Cup.

It's all just talk. Nobody has a true idea of what's going to happen. Boston wasn't even supposed to be what they were this year. Washington, the year they finally won, was the year that they were supposed to be taking a step back. Cap issues, couldn't bring the one true God Justin Williams back, etc, etc. But that's the year they win, because in addition to Ovechkin, they actually had their top 3 C's playing at the top of their games at the same time. Of course beating a Vegas team that nobody would've actually predicted would go to the Final.

You put your team out there, and they either win or lose. Stupidly simple, but that's how it is. If anyone knew why or when it will happen, every team would win every game all the time.

I’d rather see threads by fans calling their team chokers than see ones blaming the refs.

Btw. the last shift Matty Beniers received a pass in his own zone, carried it through the neutral zone and into the Avs zone, he beat one guy and held the puck long enough for his team to change and generated a decent scoring chance for a teammate.

Matty Beniers is younger than QB, he was a #2 pick like QB, he has less professional games than QB, he’s on a playoff team like QB. Why is it QB is so far behind Beniers as a player? It’s not even close.
