If Radko Gudas had the puck and was crossing the attacking blue line, could his beard make him offsides, even if his skates and puck were not?
 
Columbus had to shore up its D but I didn't expect to see Severson get max term. We'll see if Columbus ends up getting Kevin Hayes since they can't count on whoever they pick 3rd overall to come in and be effective (especially if they draft Smith over Carlsson). As it stands for the moment:

Goaltending is awful, I like Sillinger and Johnson.
If Linholm does not want to stay in Calgary I look there before Hayes. Just given the chemistry whith Gaudreau. Given the top 3 pick they could easily move a Jenner/Sillinger + for him.

The D they have coming up look good too

Tkachuk has a bad wing, so I give FLA about a 1 in 100 chance of coming back in this

Not as easily as Chuck Norris' beard could do it if he was a hockey player, but I believe you are correct.

I would have liked to have seen Tkachuk at full speed in The Final, but shit happens.

The Hockey Gods may get angry for premature celebration, but Eichel > Mcdavid discussion until Oilers get a cup are going to be so much fun. Mathews too.
 
If Vegas does finish the job, I just wish that Quickie could've played in one game during the playoffs. Hill has been what they've needed though, that's for sure.

My understanding is that dressing as a backup goaltender in a single game of the Stanley Cup Final qualifies him to have his name on the Cup.

No petitions. No questions. No decisions. IF they win, he's on.
