Craig Button going on about how the Leafs should be worried about the Sens after two pre-season wins is something else. If the media is going to jerk them off they could at least wait for them to beat us in a game that counts.
True...but it always seems like playing us is the Sens Game 7 final for them...they play like their life depends on it...other games...not so much.

Taking a look around the league, I dont see how we dont have the best roster heading into the regular season.

(Incase my double negative confuses anyone, I'm saying we're the f***ing best)

Atlantic? On paper, Carolina is pretty dang good, especially their D.

Carolina is always a headache. Probably the best D core in the league.
Looks like they have great D, but they haven’t been a legit headache in a long time.

With Boston and TB supposedly on the down there’s a real chance they go to the final, despite their lack of team toughness. NJ and NYR will have something say about it.

This is why I don't give flying you know what about pre-season. Taking anything from meaningless games is, well...meaningless. I wish we could fast forward right into the season, as pre-season anything (hockey in particular) is insufferable.

Button is the second coming of Pierre McGuire. If the Sens don't make the playoffs this year, it'll be the same old story.

Red Wings full team in Hamilton today for a funeral. Quality organization standing behind a teammate like that. F Cancer, way too young.

A couple of the young teams in the Atlantic (Buffalo and Ottawa) are going to break through soon whether it's this year, next year or the year after that. I believe Buffalo and Ottawa just have too much talent not to rise. Detroit I'm not so sure about, they have some very notable young talent but their talent pool is still shallow. It's pro sports and windows close for teams sometimes gradually sometimes abruptly. Who can Buffalo or Ottawa leapfrog? Boston after finally losing the services of Bergeron and Krejci? Tampa after all that wear and tear of playoff successes? Florida because they're still not a good defensive team? Toronto because BT has leaned too heavily on offensive additions in the off season?
