Fiala scores the OT winner with 1.4 seconds left last night. 15 points in 16 gp.

I watched a couple of SKA games in my spare time this weekend and meant to post something about this: Alexander Nikishin (Carolina 3rd Rounder) has NHL superstar written all over him imo. Big, physical guy who can skate and produce. Ridiculous numbers in the KHL for a blue liner at his age. Alexander Nikishin at eliteprospects.com

Pretty cool

That's since 2005-06 when they started tracking hits. He turns 36 tomorrow, which is absolutely wild.

Fiala with a lazy play in OT last night. Gets caught deep for no apparent reason, and fails to skate back hard on the ensuing 2 on 1, which results in a goal. I would be pissed at him out if I was his coach.

Admittedly I'm just stat watching but Talbot seems to be doing alright in Ottawa with .924 SV% and 2.42 GA in 6 games.

The Devils have won 13 straight. The Blues have won 7 straight.

And the Ducks don't have a regulation win in 19 games, one off Buffalo's record from a few years back.

Also the Canes scored three goals with the goalie pulled to tie it last night, only to lose in OT.

#22 with a goal and assist in the 2nd against NYR. Nice skill on the 1st, and great pass on the second.
