Rough news for Landeskog. As annoying as he can be against the Wild it sucks to see a good player go down too soon. Hard to imagine a guy can come back to a sport like hockey after 2+ years and still be elite.....on the wrong side of 30 too.
 
Sports Center continuing to be a shadow of it's former self. Used to be must watch every night or morning... haven't watched it in years.

No argument there, but most of the stories around it are about how it's somehow related to him being indigenous, I'm just saying I disagree with that part.

ESPN is definitely worthless in terms of hockey though.

I try not to get too exercised about political correctness but that's just truly abysmal disrespect for a man's heritage.
 
And apparently it's fixed. Anderson and Whitecloud talked, Anderson apologized publicly and sincerely. Whitecloud talked about how he values his heritage.....it's all good.

Still doesn't change the fact that this guy can't even come close to the creativity of guys like Dan Patrick from back in the day and was -a terrible joke- through and through no matter the heritage of the individual.
 
The Panthers are a dangerous team, because they have zero sh#@s to give....no expectations. Many said they were suppose to be swept in the first round. Zero expectations leads to no pressure.....gotta be some fun hockey for them right now.

The Wild are like that often. Didn't work for them though.

Why?

Getting out of the first round is the best thing that can happen for TOR haters:
-It gives the team (GM) hope and a reason not to blow it all up with Matthews/Nylander/Brodie as UFAs after next season.
-They have a lot of roster spots to fill and not a lot of cap. Murray is a $4m in bad cap they would have to pay to dump.
-The prospect pool is barren, so no internal help to cheaply fill roster spots.
