And they scored again, 3 goals in 52 seconds. On the Otter. How many periods did it take for Wild to score the 1 last goal of the series?

It really helps when you shoot the puck, hit the net, and don't shoot it right into his chest.

Wild would have tried to pass on those!

Matthew Tkachuck is a player I admire a lot. He is a rather big bodied power forward who isn't afraid to use his size with great puck handling skills, hockey "IQ" and great skating ability. A beast in the regular season and is also able to bring that into the playoffs. He does take a lot of penalties the way he plays. Its what I think Boldy can almost be without quite the same skating ability.

He is way more physical than Boldy will ever be. The only thing I wonder about Tkachuk is whether or not his style of play will shorten his career.

At the moment yes, I was trying to imply that Boldy can learn to be as physical but not really quite skate as well when he has fully developed. But he will probably never get used to using his body the same way Tkachuk does.

I think Boldy still has another 1-2 years of gaining strength but he’s never going to play with the edge of either of the Tkachuk boys. They have real grit , not Foligno grit lol

Wild 2015 4th round pick signs with the Kraken

What a goal for Leon Draisaitl, his second in the first period. From below the goal line he banked it off the goaltender.
He is second behind Gretzky and before Lemieux in PPG in the playoffs. 72 points in 44 games.

Now he scored 2 more in the third, 4 goals in this game. 11 goals in 7 games. 74 points in 44 playoff games.
Second night in a row I see a player score 4 goals. Insane

Yes Tkachuk is a winner. I don't see any of Boldy in Tkachuk. Tkachuk is a leader in many ways, Physical presence, an irritant to opponents, inspiration for his own team, rises to big games etc. Maybe I'm being too hard but boy 3 assists in 6 games? He looked like rookie out there and has a long way to go to get to a Tkachuk impact. Foligno if he had any brains, composure, skill and Hockey IQ would be closer. LOL.Even rookie Faber looked like he was playing until the last whistle where Boldy looked like he gave(among others) up which Tkachuk would never do.

To be fair it's pretty hard to realistically believe in a team with Steel, Gaudreau and a hobbled Hartman at center. They all seem like decent wingers to me. Dallas has a decent center on every line. Nevermind center depth, the Wild only Has Ek.
The Wild after game 4 didn't even believe in themselves. this is where nice guy spurgeon as good as he is, is not a Captain. If he was they wouldn't put up the pathetic game 5 and 6 efforts. Foligno gets a penalty then give up? c'mon!Weak, feeble mental softness.

Rossi looks like he needs 20 lbs of muscle to be an NHL center. another skilled speedy wing.

Next year looking even worse wih a bigger cap hit. Zuc and Fleury still here. Looking at maybe 5 years to be anything. Maybe Geurin can start to think about developing a contender instead of this signing old guys never get anywhere nonsense.

the collapse has to be blamed on the coaaching. DeBoer just said to his guys, play defnce and let the Wild do their tough guy act and then get a PP and pour it on. Completely outcoached in everyway. Wild coaches all looked useless and scared. especially special teams were especially useless.
Vegas, Carolina,Panthers coahes exude confidence. Toronto and Edmonton coaches seemed scared shitless and that affects players. Evason seems totally reactive and late at that. Hopes he can impose "Wild" hockey on opponent but I'm not sure what that is? Take stupid penaties and whine about refs on the way to golf course?

I love Reaves but after game 2 goon job didn't work why was he out there? Bring up those prospects and let them play next year. I'd rather see a young team with some glimmer of hope than watch Fleury add to meaningless stats.

Ok I'm finished. Sorry.

Maybe it´s just because I´m an old geezer, but it annoys me when he skates around chewing on his mouthguard all the time. Even when he fell down on the ice on the bottom of a pile of guys it was sticking out of his mouth. Reminds me of when Franzén took Kanes mouthguard.
