Yeah sure, but I wouldn´t consider that specific piece of trivia fun in any way, shape or form.He was right though. Just because it wasn't the answer you were looking for, doesn't mean they didn't have that in common.
It's too bad really. Those are the only kind of things I ever have in common with professional athletes. They once ate a granola bar, they once attended high school, they once were mentally sane.Yeah sure, but I wouldn´t consider that specific piece of trivia fun in any way, shape or form.
Tied up at 3 almost midway through the 2nd
Hmm... I'm sure they won't kneed him.
Oh Talbot... nobody is gonna give you 2 years at this point.

Guerin doesn't manage every team.... but yeah, they can do dumb things sometimes. Is it really that outrageous to ask for when Guerin had just handed out two two-year contracts with NMC's to two older guys who aren't any better than Talbot in Fleury and Goligoski?
Wow, perfect timing. Surprise surprise.
While I don't disagree with your overall point, I think think it's becoming more and more egregious. It's not like Stone was out for 3 weeks, he's been out since mid January. You know it's been common even long before the cap existed, that NHL players who have been injured, do anything and everything to come back for the playoffs right?
That's one of the reasons the NHL got the rep for having tough players.
Shanahan broke his ankle 3 weeks before the playoffs, he didn't miss game 1, despite not being able to walk when out of his skates
Would you have said the same if Ek played today? He sure as hell tried...
Don't they have to get cleared by doctors to play? And aren't teams that are in salary cap trouble forced to bring guys off LTIR if they are cleared? Ek's injury is new and has nothing to do with salary cap circumvention/LTIR.You know it's been common even long before the cap existed, that NHL players who have been injured, do anything and everything to come back for the playoffs right?
