NopeI mean - Talbot is at the end of his career, but I'd still want him over Fleury.

Yeah, no.I mean - Talbot is at the end of his career, but I'd still want him over Fleury.
Cheaper, doesn't have a contract extended past this year and we saw how bad Gus with the Senators.Nope
It's a fool's errand because you're not trading Fleury for Gustavsson last summer.Cheaper, doesn't have a contract extended past this year and we saw how bad Gus with the Senators.
I don't want Talbot OR Fleury past this year.
Problem is, we don't know what we could have traded for Gustavsson last summer. Kulikov? A mid-round pick. Who knows. It's a fool's errand because you're not trading Fleury for Gustavsson last summer.
Right. We know what we know, and we don't know what we don't.Problem is, we don't know what we could have traded for Gustavsson last summer. Kulikov? A mid-round pick. Who knows.
Doesn't mean that having Talbot over Fleury is such a foolish idea.Right. We know what we know, and we don't know what we don't.
It's probably mostly meaningless, except for what actually was traded away to get get Gustavsson on the team. Then it becomes very meaningful.Doesn't mean that having Talbot over Fleury is such a foolish idea.
Fleury and Talbot don't have that different of numbers. Talbot has been injured this season as well (and that maybe a carry over from last season).
Love Fleury as a person, not in love with how he's been as a goalie.
Again I would have rather pursued Gustavsson separate from signing Fleury. It's probably mostly meaningless, except for what actually was traded away to get get Gustavsson on the team. Then it becomes very meaningful.
No you wouldn't have, because you, like I, had no idea that Gustavsson was worth pursuing or was even available.Again I would have rather pursued Gustavsson separate from signing Fleury.
He has a 3.5 million hit next season. Even shaving a million or half a million would go a LONG way.
Well Gustavsson was a former Pens prospect and probably been on the radar for Guerin. No you wouldn't have, because you, like I, had no idea that Gustavsson was worth pursuing or was even available.
There was a decent chance that Wild management was in the same boat, until they needed to shop a goalie around.
Sure, a year and a half in the Pittsburgh organization, 4+ years ago, when we was playing exclusively in Sweden. I'm sure Guerin was right on top of every step of his progress.Well Gustavsson was a former Pens prospect and probably been on the radar for Guerin.
Highly likely it's a full team tomorrow. Less likely on Thursday but I still think a pretty good chance.Flames fan here, question depends on the outcome of the current Flames game obviously, but in the hopes the Flames win we need the Jets to lose to both the Av's and Wild, my question is this: do you think/know if the Wild will be playing their full line-up in the last two games or will they sit guys?
Thanks for any replies!
Kap will play tomorrow, so likely most of the playoff guys will be in.Flames fan here, question depends on the outcome of the current Flames game obviously, but in the hopes the Flames win we need the Jets to lose to both the Av's and Wild, my question is this: do you think/know if the Wild will be playing their full line-up in the last two games or will they sit guys?

Flames lose in a shootout

I just hope they dont get Bedard,For me, that Kyle Beach thing soured me on anything to do with the Hawks, not that they were on my Christmas Card list anyway.
