My guess is this that he didn't recover fully from his offseason surgery and came back too soon. He just hasn't been close to 100% all season.

Brodin and Foligno were also rushed back this year and it cost them another stint on IR. It's why how the team handles Kap's injury worries me.

I'm not sure I agree that McBain is a "beast".

McBain might seem like a beast if you only watch Wild games, considering he has 4 points in 5 GP against us.

Overall his scoring pace is falls in the same category as Shaw and Dewar.
