Did anyone see Hall basically publicly asking out in a post-game answer to a sabres reporter?

Reporter basically asked "If Adams (GM) came up to you and asked if you wanted to be traded, would you be okay with that"

Hall responded in a dead/emotionless manner "Ya for sure"

I've never seen that type of response. Would think the player would either pretend he still wants to stick around, direct the question saying that he only controls what happens on the ice and anything off it is b/w him and the GM, or simply flip the reporter off by verbal berating or walking out the interview.

Hall is done with Buffalo, he needs to be deal. Leafs should send the offer tonight and get him on an MLSE plane first thing in the morning

The future is very hard to predict.

I see lot of posts around here proclaiming the Sens for example to be a future contender. Lots can change in a short period of time and success is never a guarantee

This is true. In any case the lesson with Buffalo is that just because a team keeps getting high draft picks, it doesn't mean they will for sure turn a corner some time in the future.

They’re talking about the Tkachuk bothers on Overdrive. I think Brady might end up being the better, more serious player despite having less skills than Matthew. Matthew is so good but seems intent on becoming more of a sideshow for whatever reason.

I still can't believe that Muzzin's puck flip is what has essentially derailed Calgary's season. Had to have a team meeting shortly afterwards and just haven't recovered.

I would say that is an overpayment. Glad we did not pay it anyways.

I don't think Staal would have the kind of impact which reflects the price.

A third for the player, a fifth for retaining 50%. I don't think it's that bad really. At the end of the day, with Buffalo's drafting and development, they've gained nothing, and Montreal has had a billion picks the last few years, so they can afford to throw a few away.

I mean they have two seconds, two thirds left, three fourths, and two fifths left. It's basically who cares pocket change for them. (plus the first and sixth round picks)

Fair enough, but I don't think Staal makes enough of an impact to warrant that kind of price, even with retention.

yea he really needs to ease up on the shit disturbing, I think Sutter has cut his minutes down, and trying to get him to focus more on playing instead of being a shit head
