Their playoff failures in recent years are hilarious but I really have nothing against the Leafs. Would much rather see them make it out of the Atlantic than the Bruins or Bolts. That would be a really fun series if we could make it out of the Metro too.

I have nothing against the team themselves and also wouldn't mind seeing them have some playoff success. Their fans on the other hand....

Yeah, they look good. But until I see them beat the Bruins in the playoffs, I'm not on their bandwagon.
Completely understand and cannot blame you at all for feeling that way. I’m definitely a little weary to even say it because it’s not like they haven’t looked good in the regular season the past couple years but they look more locked in then I think they ever have.

Could just be another case of them blowing their load wayyyyy too early but I wouldn’t want to play them in the first round rn.

I was looking forward to watching the Sens and Jason Robertson tonight … turned out I only saw the Sens. I didn’t notice him more than once or twice. I’m disappointed! Never really seen him play.

That’s crazy, I did the same thing and had the same reaction.

This must be what it’s like for other fanbases when the Canes have a national TV game.

It's an interesting choice to scratch him, because he's earned points in 4 straight games. Which means he's being scratched for his defensive play, and that seems outright foolish, because it's not like "TonyD is terrible defensively" should come as a surprise to anyone.

What should be a surprise to most, however, is that the same GM that paid Tony would also hire Tortz. Only a bad GM would do that. Probably no surprise to Philly fans, though.

Now that Suzuki i healthy can we entice the Flyers to trade him to us , we have some other to go with him Bokk , 2nd rounder whatever it takes as long they take 50% of his salary ....i think we would be better off Slavin with TDA and pesce with burns , De haan with Skjei looks really good

haha trade De angelo to us , forgot to write that in

@AhosDatsyukian can't quote you properly for some reason, but I don't think there's any issue for us obtaining TDA any which way. His contract had expired, we didn't have him signed on an SPC when we traded away his signing rights. Whatever contract he has now he brokered with Philly. There's no cap shenanigans or anything on our part.

the quote isnt working either , i was wondering at Cap retaining , can we ask for retaining just one year , like to made a trade with flyers , can we ask the first year to be retained and the second is on us?

Let's say he's a target. Do you put him on the 3rd pair when he was so effective with Slavin last year or do you put Burns on the 3rd probably passing him off and making CDH have to cover D for him since he is O minded.

The thought is great but I just don't know if it works.
