Rags get wrung in the 3rd. Blow 3-1 lead and lose 4-3 in regulation

All I can say is at least this game didn't end in a 3 point game like I thought.

GD Devil's won't stop winning. Haven't watched them yet. Are they for real?

I don't know but like 2 weeks ago everyone was calling for Ruffs head. He's still on thin ice I think but he'll at least make it to Thanksgiving

It's obviously really early but Seattle looks like they could possibly sneak into a playoff spot if they continue to get good to decent goaltending.

Debs are still my pick of team to fall off a cliff in 2023. Still might be good enough to make the playoffs but they're not this good. A lot of talent but they've still got growing pains to go through.

Seattle is definitely improved but Jesus Nashville is awful. I'd still wager the majority of the surprise teams fall off.

NJ reminds me of Buffalo the last few years. Start out the season hair on fire and then just collapse in December and January once they run out of steam.

Yup. Looking at the stats, you've got a lot of people who are off to a hot start who probably aren't going to be able to maintain. And when you look down the lineup of people who could step up when the others cool off, there's nobody. Unless a lot of 30 point 26 year olds suddenly became 55 point 27 year olds, and assuming Bratt is not 120 point player, it'll be crashing down any time now.

Contrast with Canes who have Jarvis, KK, Staal, Fast, TT, Slavin, Statsny who aren't going too good while the big 3 have been playing above their expectations.

I think the Devils will at least partially collapse as the season goes on. Depending on how the Flyers, Rags, etc. do the rest of the year I could still see them making the playoffs, but can't really see them having any chance of winning the division.

Honestly, I'd be pretty happy if the surprise teams didn't collapse. None of the likes of Philly, the Isles, or the Devils really scare me when it comes to the playoffs. Not that we couldn't lose, but I think we're ultimately going to be much better than them. It'd be nice to get some fun, new matchups as well.

But as I said recently, it's hard for some of these teams that likely aren't really that good to keep it up for 82 games.

Definitely a weird play on the Kane injury. I've had my wrist cut by a skate as I was coming off the bench and the other player was coming on. It wasn't anything major but did bleed a lot and I didn't even notice until the ref blew the play dead and came over to tell me I was dripping all over the ice ha.

I generally agree but the Rags didn't scare me in the least bit last year and we lost to them. Also I'm sure we didn't scare the Caps or Isles at all in 2018-19. Teams that have runs out of nowhere where it feels like they're playing with house money will always have me concerned to a degree. And that's what the Devils/Flyers would be. Isles not as much but even with the coaching change and down season last year they did get to 2 straight conference finals and gave Tampa a decent run...

I don't see it happening but I'd prefer to get the Pens and Caps it rounds 1 and 2. Neither of those teams scare me at all but I also am not convinced they're as bad as their starts have been and they could still make the playoffs.

One time I kicked a guy right in the visor while jumping over the boards.
