Tkachuk is a pest, similar to Perry, Marchand, etc.

My thing is, his antics if he doesn't cool it are going to wear thin in Florida. He's fine for now, but consider that Florida is in win now mode and won't have the picks or prospects to make an all-in trade deadline push. He's going to be heavily relied on to produce, if he's suspended or thrown off his game then that's going to be a problem.

He's in a less pressure market so maybe I'm overreacting here. We'll see.

Or in the case of the last game with Svech and his stick being held, he's penalized for pushing the guy to get him to let go, but not the Calgary guy.

A penalty for retaliating against a guy that wasn't penalized. They always call the retaliation against illegal plays. That's another classic NHL move that should be on a bingo card.

On the other side of the coin, the Blue Jackets are 0-20 this year on the power play, despite having Laine, Johnny G, etc.
