If we want to win the Cup, we are now officially required to win at least one road game.

Shit.

Not entirely true because Edmonton is the lower seed. But, it would be wise to close this thing out tomorrow.
Obviously I'm rooting for a Tampa Bay threepeat, but a Colorado vs. Carolina cup final would be cool. One season removed from sharing the net in Arizona, Darcy Kuemper and Antti Raanta facing each other in the finals.

Crazy enough we would have had that in 2002 if Patrick Roy hadn't gone into idiot mode in game 6 of that years WCFs. I still to this day have no clue what the hell he was trying to prove there.

Oh my god yes xtc is f***ing incredible. Dear God really isn't indicative of their whole deal though. Gun to my head i think my favorite album of theirs is Psonic Psunspot as the Dukes of Stratosphear but man its a tough choice

^ Yeah Dukes of Stratosphear are awesome. Here I thought 25 O'Clock was their only album. Thank you. Can't wait to check out there other album. It's so freaking impressive this band wrote songs in this style, which is totally different from the XTC stuff, and also so, so good. It reminds me a bit of Temples, a recent band who makes that psychadelic and fun stuff, or a teensy bit like early Tame Impala.

Edit - seems like I've heard half of these songs before. But not the whole album. Look forward nonetheless. Kudos to Harry Guitar Shop's teacher John Heames, my old guitar teacher in high school, who turned me on to this and 1000 other great bands.

I think what really seals it to me are the little Alice in Wonderland-esque interludes. Having read about Andy Partridge's anxiety and stage fright and all that it really seems to me that having the freedom of "oh this is a joke band these are just silly homages" allowed him especially but the rest of the band too to really have infectious joy in the songs. I now feel compelled to share this one as it was a Partridge instead of Moulding like the last one

I think its been on several xtc collections but man its great. If Brian Wilson and Paul McCartney fused into one being

It’s kind of funny because they get absolutely no coverage up here. I legitimately did not even realize the worlds were going on right now.

Is it just a TSN thing? I've no idea how many households they reach.
