If we want to win the Cup, we are now officially required to win at least one road game.
Shit.
Not if Edmonton beats Colorado. Then we can continue to only win home games.

Obviously I'm rooting for a Tampa Bay threepeat, but a Colorado vs. Carolina cup final would be cool. One season removed from sharing the net in Arizona, Darcy Kuemper and Antti Raanta facing each other in the finals.
I thought that dude was deadDarren Helm?
Really?
Not True... If Edmonton beats Colorado..If we want to win the Cup, we are now officially required to win at least one road game.

great song. xtc deserves more love“Dear God”, indeed.
Big fan of XTC, but that song always came off as preachy and melancholic to me. Not my cup of tea. I tend to like the Colin Moulding written tunes better than the Andy Partridge ones. I do equally like their early stuff and their later work, though.great song. xtc deserves more love
I think what really seals it to me are the little Alice in Wonderland-esque interludes. Having read about Andy Partridge's anxiety and stage fright and all that it really seems to me that having the freedom of "oh this is a joke band these are just silly homages" allowed him especially but the rest of the band too to really have infectious joy in the songs. I now feel compelled to share this one as it was a Partridge instead of Moulding like the last one^ Yeah Dukes of Stratosphear are awesome. Here I thought 25 O'Clock was their only album. Thank you. Can't wait to check out there other album. It's so freaking impressive this band wrote songs in this style, which is totally different from the XTC stuff, and also so, so good. It reminds me a bit of Temples, a recent band who makes that psychadelic and fun stuff, or a teensy bit like early Tame Impala.
Edit - seems like I've heard half of these songs before. But not the whole album. Look forward nonetheless. Kudos to Harry Guitar Shop's teacher John Heames, my old guitar teacher in high school, who turned me on to this and 1000 other great bands.
Canadians crawling out of the woodwork to annouce that they don't care about the Worlds and, also, wewererobbedenjoyyourcrapgoldwhenhaveyouwonanythingthatmatters is like a lost Monty Python sketch.
Tampa then the West championWho's everyone rooting for in the conference finals? I'm rooting for Tampa Bay (obviously) and Colorado (can't root for a Canadian team, sorry Canadians).
Tampa then the West champion
I just dislike the smugness of many of their fans. They beat us fair and square. But yeah I want Tampa to loseI'll do my best to urge on the Bolts to avenge the Canes.
