I need to see this lol. I do remember them mocking the oilers moves and also saying their depth would be scary.
 
SN panel - who’s the best team in the West?

2 of 3 (Botteril and Gazdic) leap at “ITS THE JETS!!”

I have no idea how two people that watch hockey as their job can possibly say the Jets are the best team in the West. Have they watched them in the last 2 months?

It’s not even a “they should have said Oilers!” thing either. If all 3 said Vegas that would still make sense. The Jets? Discrediting to the analyst.

But they don't watch the games. I'm not joking.
I have to put myself through HELL to follow the Oilers.


There is no way anyone living in Toronto is actually watching games. They stat watch, watch highlights, and listen to local narratives. But they don't watch any of the games.

Tyler Myers in OT is the gift that keeps on giving. I've probably seen a half dozen comical f*** ups from him leading to losses, and I actually caught one in person.

I was in Vancouver around December/January 21-22 and went to the Oiler game there. Went to OT and Myers, while completely unchallenged, just dumped it. Got to the red line and dumped it and changed. They didn't even have a forechecker that could have made it there. We then take the puck, push into their end, and McDavid ends it in OT.

It's hilarious they keep throwing him out there.

What's hilarious is that last year was his last of his contract. Everything is going right and he looks ok. Not atrocious like he does now. They sign him to a 3 year deal lolll
 
Sucks to see - no team in the East looks like a juggernaut.

In the West, can't see any of Dallas, Vegas, Colorado or even LAK being an easy out. Not to mention WPG or MIN, who are just slightly more fault-ridden than the others.
