Speculation: Another year of this Bluc **** (The 2024-25 season thread)

Fiala is better than that? You sure? Seems on point to me.
HIs assits/60 5x5 this season is 0.22 last on the team amongst regulars second worst is Jeannot at 0.44.. Last season he was 1.91... Thats quite a fall off, like so drastic as to make you wonder what the hell is going on given he's not injured.. source NHL Player Statistics -Advanced Stats 2024-2025

I mean...... Obviously yes he's better than that???? Lol

We've literally SEEN it with our own eyes lmfao.

If you want to criticize Fiala for his lack of production this year, his bad penalties, his questionable performances in the playoffs, or his bad turnovers then go right ahead - But let's not act like this isn't a player who's proven he can drive play and produce points (both 5 on 5 and on the powerplay). In 22/23 he had 49 assists and 72 points while only having 24 power play points - a vast majority of his production came at even strength. In 23/24, his powerplay points increased a bit but still only accounted for 30 of his 73 points.

He's having a rough go of it this year (for whatever reason) but come on now. We do in fact KNOW Fiala is a better player than he's shown this year.

I thought it you were smarter than this. He’s playoffs Fiala now and he will regular season Fiala in the playoffs. Connect the dots bucko
Either way, the Kings are worse off in the spring time with him on the ice.

Players like Kevin Fiala are dynamic, exciting, and will almost always cost you close games when the heat is on. It’s a tale as old as the game itself.

Just realized Fiala had 6 points in 3 playoff games during the 2022/23 playoffs....

Granted yes, small sample size and the rest of his track record between here and Nashville isn't amazing but credit where credit is due I guess.

Hopefully he can turn it on in the 2nd half and go off in the playoffs

I don't like the new forum look. Very generic.

I'm not getting transparent overlay ads like was on the previous iteration, so that's nice.

This places has been slowly dying for awhile.

It’s still a lively hub of activity compared to the corpse of LGK.

Have to believe it keeps alive, because I absolutely refuse to join the cesspool known as Reddit.

Why is Reddit a cesspool?

I guess internet forums in general (aside from Reddit) are a relic of the old internet. Kind of like blogs. In decline.

There's probably very few people who post here under the age of 30.

And did you also realize that the Kings lost all three of those games after having a 2-1 lead in the series without him?

Let’s say Fiala was to waive his NMC, who do you think he’d waive it for? I would think NYR, even though they are in a free fall, anyone else?

Only thing Fiala is elite at is offensive zone blueline turnovers per 60 and taking dipshit penalties in defense of his fragile ego.

reddit's fundamentally flawed, the most visible posts by default are the most upvoted, so by design it just creates an echo chamber instead of a chronological discussion

dissenting opinions are simply not allowed to exist because if you vary too much from the status quo your posts are auto-hidden

“Dark”?!? Weird because it’s mostly white for me. Prior one had too much red. But this is all basic white.
this is what i have the displeasure of looking at and even if i go to my profile and change to light mode it stays dark

big big fan of the 25% usage of a 1440p monitor too

Try on different browser to see if its browser related - on my chrome i have set dark mode default so its dark no matter what. Either way, the admins say to contact them if there are issues with the layout/colors.
